@tamtam556 Yeah, I tried the same thing and it thinned my ends. I knew cutting it with a razor would thin out my bangs, but I didn't anticipate how much! It kind of worked out for me though because I have really think hair, and my bangs are more manageable now that they are thinner :-)

so I watched multiple videos on razor cutting and this one seemed just what I was looking for so I did it and it was great! I spent 40.00 on my last cut only to have her sell me some products that I hate and have my hair more dry then ever... I myself wanted my bangs a lil shorter then yours so I did that and it changed things up. My hair grows fast so I am happy to have some texture. I did use the razor to put in some layers on the sides and crown to add volume. Thank you thank you thank you!

3:40... 2 years ago so i showed the lady doing my hair 3 pictures and explained i wanted them cut just below the brows so when they dried and were pushed to the side they would be right above my eyebrows. one cut and my bangs were 1 inch tapered to 2 inches. i was so shocked i couldn't say anything. when i got in the car i just cried. i spent the next few months only wearing my hair down so i could hair spray the bangs to the rest of my hair so it gave the illusion my bangs were grown out....

... thankfully it worked and no one noticed. i didn't get my hair trimmed for a year cause i was scared. my mom has bangs and she cuts them herself. every time she allows someone else to do it they cut them wrong and it ends up kinda weird looking. she said if i ever wanna give bangs another try to have her do it. i doubt i'll ever try bangs again... at least not in the next 10 years lol.
