  • I BET SHE GIVES GREAT HEAD

  • So your life is forever ruined by your parents who PURPOSELY withheld you from an education, what do you do?

    DANCE IN MEXICO

  • @HT Yeah, she looks like a girl who considers her life forever ruined just because she didn't spend the first 18 years of her life forced to perform dull, arbitrary tasks. What an unlucky girl to have the opportunity to pursue her true interests as a totally free spirit in the world. (And how lucky are all those depressed university kids who have no idea what they're going to do with their lives once they graduate with their useless degree, no job experience and thousands of dollars in debt?)

  • @bKiwiD

You are extremely naive if you actually believe that having no education is somehow better than being a college graduate.

  • @HT: Maybe the reason you assume 'no-forced-schooling' = 'no education' is b/c you were so thoroughly schooled that you learned to wait to be fed information, and didn't learn to go out looking for it yourself? Education is everywhere, and school is only one (and I would say inferior) avenue of gaining it (although some u-s kids do choose to take courses to achieve their goals).

  • @HT: The point is that it's whatever suits their needs and interests best, driven by their own passion, not an impersonal, limited program designed to cater to the lowest common denominator. Being a 'college graduate' is not necessarily better than anything at all. It doesn't guarantee a job; it doesn't guarantee happiness or a sense of fulfillment; it doesn't even guarantee knowledge or a basic understanding of any subject matter! All it guarantees is a piece of paper to cite on your resume.

  • @HT: My view of what's "better", is whatever helps a person to live a happy, fulfilling life. Sure, a person can probably be a happy, fulfilled school-raised NASA physicist. But a person can also be a happy, fulfilled baker who chose their job because they loved to bake, learned to do their job by apprenticing, pursues other interests in their off-hours, celebrates holidays with friends, and raises their children the way they were raised: free to pursue their passions and learn organically.

  • you crazy girl

  • So these are the benefits of unschooling? BACK THE FUCK UP! FUND THIS SHIT NOW!!
