I've just a short query that I think I know the answer to but I am uncertain,

Is the reason why hollow glass tubes and ornaments etc aren't cast in a manner similar to that in the video but spun with machines or by a master due to simple economics?

Or is there a technical factor I'm over looking?

blowing, be it by hand, or machine, is the most effective method of creating hollow forms. there's some factories that make stuff the way that hollow pasta noodles are made, but in my own personal opinion, its not as effective. this is all just my own two cents.
