I think this version is much better than Aria's original. I think Rammstein's music and Lindemann's singing suits the melody of the song so much better. I think it's 100 % Lindemann's intention to pronounce everything wrong, hence the title "Schtiel". And note that when they play Depeche Mode's Stripped live, he sings it with a thick German accent as well. And his voice is simply amazing, so why argue about pronounciation?

Wenn man in einer Fremdsprache ein Lied singt, dann sollte man normalerweise an sich selbst den Anspruch stellen, es wenigstens ein bisschen richtig auszusprechen. Ich habe mir selbst ein kleines bisschen Russisch beigebracht, aber höre trotzdem sofort falsche Aussprache heraus. Ich sage das, obwohl ich ein großer Rammstein-Fan bin, aber: Tills Aussprache ist einfach nur miserabel, unter aller Sau. Und das, obwohl sie doch das Originallied zur Verfügung hatten.
