Still, Superman IV sucked. Had potential to be a great entry into the series, it was better then 3 but horrible fight scenes, they had to use Lex Luthor a 3rd time and Nuclear Man. Why couldnt they use another Superman villian.
"In a full nuclear exchange, not everyone would be killed by the fire storm and the immediate radiation. There would be other agonies; the legions of the burned and blinded and mutilated; disease; plague; long-lived radiation poisoning the soil and the water; the stillbirths and malformed children; the knowledge that we could have prevented it and did nothing."
--Carl Sagan
... "did nothing" but make snide bitchy comments about a 25 year old movie that promoted PEACE! For shame!
"For me, Quest for Peace is the most personal Superman of the entire series. It directly reflects what Superman should be, and what he should be doing."

... so hellbent on sounding cynical and bitchy that you glide right past THE TRUTH ...
"I had seen a television show in Boston. Children were talking about what it is like to grow up in the ATOMIC age. At the same time, people were saying that I had the attention of the kids and that I should take advantage of that, so I said, OK."

There needs to be an exterior shot of the Daily Planet just before Lois and Clark in the office, just to make the transition a bit smoother. Also, I'd re-insert the deleted scene of Superman telling Jimmy no....
Looks good, could lengthen the transposition between scenes 3:05, as there is no real sense of time passing.. And if possible cut the music out at some point from the scene around 2:06 to make it more dramatic. Then again, as suggsted, it might work better without Jeremy.
I don't think Jeremy was needed in this cut. With the Paris sequence and then the scene at the fortress, we already get the idea. Plus, you drove it home with the nightmare scene (bonus points for making it match the rest of the footage). Just throw in the scenes in which he's thinking at the Daily Planet and you've got it made; no more annoying kid who disappears as soon as the plot gets going.
Reeve did Superman 4 because he wanted too get involved in the script process and eventually try directing, ect. I remember when he was on Larry King Live, he said he would be happy too do another Superman movie, but the budget for each movie kept getting smaller and smaller. And Superman needs too be epic. And have a great story.
and yet warner still dont have a clue. people make these clips to bring out the best in superman IV because what we were given was an insult to christopher reeve, not to mention the fact that this film was insighted by the man himself, and they stabbed him in the back with a budget of $00.05.
@mum0003 not too sure it's such a stab in the back. Reeve didn't want to do a Superman 4 anyway, the only reason he did it was so Golan-Globus would produce Street Smart, his pet project for years. And they did. And it was critically acclaimed, and showcased Morgan Freeman in his breakthrough role. Seems to me, Christopher Reeve had the one-up on Cannon Films.
Kuwait's right! Beautiful:) *

Man, I can't tell you how much better this all plays than the actual UN sequence from 'Superman IV.' You're great at this!

I could've done better filming Superman IV on my HD camera than Cannon miserably failed at the box office.
An utter humiliation
