This is just having fun. Making fun of Houseman. Nobody has to capture an "essence". Hilarious stuff. SCTV spoofed a lot of people and shows with a very low budget. I'm not a big Robin Williams fan, but this is hilarious.

Hillarious! Especially considering Houseman was a teacher at Julliad where Williams attended. I heard him joke that Houseman was someone who felt everybody should sound like they were reserved, upper-crust English, without much variety etc. . Williams is the exact opposite style. I wonder if he had a hand in writing this but even if not I'm sure he had a great time having a go at him :>)

Houseman ran the school, he wasn't one of the teachers. Reeves and WiIliams were room-mates while Williams was there, but Robin left before he finished. One of my former teachers was one of their teachers.
