Còn nữa, đa số nhiều người suy nghĩ Mỹ là một nơi tuyệt vời, là 1 vùng đất hứa nhưng xin nói thật, tôi - 1 ng` hiện đang sinh sống trên đất Mỹ mỗi ngày bước ra đường đều phải nơm nớp lo lắng để ý trc' sau, đã từng có rất nhìu ng` trong đó có cả những ng` tôi từng wen biết khi ko lại chết 1 cách vô lý bởi những cuộc bắn nhau, ẩu đã ko rõ lý do của bọn côn đồ. Vì thế đừng mơ mộng nữa mà hãy bỏ thêm thời gian để nhìn lại đất nước mình, biết đâu các bạn sẽ thấy được những cái tốt đẹp của chúng ta.
Bản thân tôi cũng là 1 du học sinh hiện đang sinh sống và học hành tại Mỹ. bước sang 1 đất nước hiện đại, tôi thoạt đầu cũng lóa mắt bởi sự phồn hoa của nó nhưng ko phải vì thế mà nói nhìn về đất nước mình bằng 1 ánh mắt khinh thường, thay vào đó là suy nghĩ đất nước ta cần có những bước đổi mới j` để phát triển hơn thế này.
Ở bất kỳ quốc gia nào cũng có ng` giàu kẻ nghèo, cũng có điều cái dở, cũng có cái đáng tự hào và cái đáng hổ thẹn, là một con người Việt Nam, điều chúng ta phải làm ko phải là tranh cãi gây mất đoàn kết, mà hãy phấn đấu giúp đỡ quốc gia mình, dân tộc mình phát huy những cái hay cái tốt, những cái đáng tự hào và xóa bỏ đi những cái xấu, những thứ nhơ nhuốt khỏi đất nước ta . Khi thấy đất nước mình xuất hiện những thứ xấu xa, các bạn nên thấy đau lòng chứ ko phải là ngồi đây khinh bỉ chê bai.

Now don’t get me wrong there is very good people in the cities and I have very close friends from the cities however even they agree with the problems. It is a shame that there is so much scamming that many foreigners when they meet honest people often tend to be less open and trusting again. I too felt this way the first time I visited Vietnam but then with the opportunity to keep coming back through research and friends I saw Vietnam the way it should be away from the scams and tourism.

Since you have not refuted one single thing I have said I assume them to be true. All you can say is come see Vietnam. I have been there on numerous trips and what I saw saddened me. The majority of the citizens toil all day to make two to four dollars to survive, while the well-connected and corrupted rich live in their own ivory towers. They are mostly either in the government or connected to or associated with it. There is absolutely no allowance for the right to free speech.
You speak out against the government, you go to jail. Any attempt to discuss or publish any kind of statement espousing democracy will be severely punished. There is no right to organize any kind of party because the communist government has the sole and exclusive right to dictate what is right for everyone, rightly or wrongly. If you want to practice a religion, it has to be an approved religion. The reason Vietnam keeps a large army in time of peace is to protect their illegitimate government.

So, don't try to compare them. If you come to VietNam, you have to follow the law of Vietnam, you have to see the culture of Vietnamese because here is 90 milions people with 4000 years of history.
All countries have laws, true, but the difference is democratic countries passed laws which respect basic human rights, while Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh) borrowed the U.S. Constitution with no intention of honoring or giving its people any of those basic human rights. Did the Vietnamese people have the right and freedom to vote for its government? If the answer is no, then the government is an illegitimate government.That is exacty the reason why Vietnam has to keep such a large army in time of peace.

Are there many poor people in Vietnam more than in US - the richest country ? Are the rich-poor gap in Vietnam is bigger ? The answer is NO, the number of poor people, homeless and no-job people in US even much bigger. The poor people in US is poorer than the poorest in VietNam. Vietnam is not a rich country yet (because of the war) but non of vietnamese is lack of food.

@TheBaoAndro that's not the Vietnam I have seen. It's lovely country and people but there are 2 main problems 1. There is corruption even in education where money talks louder than ability 2. The city area’s is a place where many tourists get scammed even local Vietnamese admit this which makes it hard for foreign business and tourism. Also many honest Vietnamese trying to work in these city areas have to compete with these idiots and makes it hard for foreigns there

Now don’t get me wrong there is very good people in the cities and I have very close friends from the cities however even they agree with the problems. It is a shame that there is so much scamming that many foreigners when they meet honest people often tend to be less open and trusting again. I too felt this way the first time I visited Vietnam but then with the opportunity to keep coming back through research and friends I saw Vietnam the way it should be away from the scams and tourism.

One of my professor is a French, he came many country such as China, India, Argentina, Korea, Japan ... But he said, he only feel Vietnam as his second hometown. Now he want to leave in Vietnam instead in France. And he is applying a job which is the corporation of Vietnam and France Govement. It is a chance for him to live longer in Vietnam. :).

Tôi ko thiên về Việt Nam Cộng Hòa hay VN XHCN, nhưng quả thật tôi thấy về Nhân quyền thì hiện nay VN vẫn chưa thực sự có, hãy để ý, các bạn sẽ thấy dc sự thật, đừng chỉ có dùng tai, hãy dùng cả con mắt và trí óc để nhìn vào thực tế.
Tôi yêu VN, và tôi cũng đồng ý với quan điểm : chế độ nào được lòng dân thì chế độ đó sẽ vững bền.

@vuman9 Một thể chế chính trị còn tồn tại nghĩa là nó còn được nhân dân ủng hộ và che chở (tất nhiên là trừ bọn phản loạn, hèn hạ đến mức có thể bán rẻ tổ quốc để lấy USD), thể chế nào, chế độ nào không được dân che chở và ủng hộ tất sẽ phải diệt vong, nhường chỗ cho một thể chế hoàn thiện hơn, đó là quy luật phát triển muôn đời. Since you have not refuted one single thing I have said I assume them to be true. All you can say is come see Vietnam. I have been there on numerous trips and what I saw saddened me. The majority of the citizens toil all day to make two to four dollars to survive, while the well-connected and corrupted rich live in their own ivory towers. They are mostly either in the government or connected to or associated with it. There is absolutely no allowance for the right to free speech.

You speak out against the government, you go to jail. Any attempt to discuss or publish any kind of statement espousing democracy will be severely punished. There is no right to organize any kind of party because the communist government has the sole and exclusive right to dictate what is right for everyone, rightly or wrongly. If you want to practice a religion, it has to be an approved religion. The reason Vietnam keeps a large army in time of peace is to protect their illegitimate government.

Another despicable example of the Vietnamese Communist government is their holding the expatriates hostage. Every year Vietnamese expatriates all over the world send home about 15 billion dollars to help out their families because they can't stand to see their families suffer. Guess what, to show their gratitude in return, the expatriates cannot even legally buy a home under their own name.

All countries have laws, true, but the difference is democratic countries passed laws which respect basic human rights, while Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh) borrowed the U.S. Constitution with no intention of honoring or giving its people any of those basic human rights. Did the Vietnamese people have the right and freedom to vote for its government? If the answer is no, then the government is an illegitimate government.That is exacty the reason why Vietnam has to keep such a large army in time of peace.

@TheBaoAndro that's not the Vietnam I have seen. It's lovely country and people but there are 2 main problems 1. There is corruption even in education where money talks louder than ability 2. The city area’s is a place where many tourists get scammed even local Vietnamese admit this which makes it hard for foreign business and tourism. Also many honest Vietnamese trying to work in these city areas have to compete with these idiots and makes it hard for foreigns there
