yes the flash works when your have dual screen and it's so cool because when you upload the pictures to your computer it updates Intelli Studio it's so cool because there you can edit your pictures like if your in Picnik it's really cool and although it's expensive it's really worth paying the money because of all the advanced technology

hi, i have a samsung st225, but i can't seem to turn off the smile feature on the front screen. I tried going into menu and turning face detection off and i also tried normal but it still takes a picture automatically when i smile. Is there a way to turn that feature off?

These cameras suck though I had one for a week and brought it back. the pictures are good but the video sucks the sound cuts out when you zoom in and out. The battery life was also very bad. You can only take a little over 100 pictures on a charge, and thats not using the flash.

Wouldn't the second viewfinder distract the subject of the photograph? And cause them to look away from the lens?

I own a samsung ES20 with 10.2 mp CCD, face detection, smile detection and many of other features like this camera. I can see many benefits for the second viewfinder, such as self portrait. On mine a noise is emmitted untill my face appears within the target focus box. A very smart camera, but no specialist lens :(

I JUST bought this camera this morning and let me tell ya...yes, you actually have to flick it. Kind of weird. It''s as if the front display is not touch sensitive but impact sensitive. You can't just drag your finger over it to turn it on. Poking it rarely works.

I LOVE THIS CAMERA!!! I wrote a review at Amazon, go under TL225 camera (not TL220). TL 225 is the same camera, just more features and a bigger screen (3.5 inch screen instead of 3.0). If you have the Extra $50 go with the TL225, the Resolution on the back screen is 4X better then the TL220 and much much more! Check out my review to learn more of the differences between these 2 cams.
