Traditionally "steampunk" meant a story set in a world where steam is the best technology rather than gasoline/electricity/magic and the main character is a "punk": rebels, outcasts, anti-heroes.

Over time, steampunk has come to be more "steam" and less punk. It's about the inventions/world/fashion/etc if electricity had never been invented. Usually, that means just sticking brass/copper, gears, and tubes all over shit. Sometimes, though, people make cools stuff like this that actually works!

It's actually called steampunk. In Japan it's known for being space pirate style. It's so big in Japan they even cosplay for it! Octupus are huge to along with old antique wrist watches that show the gears, & pocket watches If you go into Ebay look for SteamPunk HandMade Watches Studio A Japanese guy named Sinohara Kouji makes them & they are truly a masterpeice! Unique & cool in everyway It's sad this video isn't getting much reviews, steampunk has some wicked stuff! Thanx Googlerman!

oh, Thank you! I didn't want to sound like I knew everything lol ^_^' I just wanted everyone to kind of have an understanding to what it is! Theres so many differant kinds of steampunk I think the list could go on!
