They're not shorts with frills. They're so short that you can see the shorts under the skirt. You can tell at 1:03. Not only was this in the early winter of '08, I think Mai and some other members are showing too much skin for their age - omo. I found it weird that even though BK is their senpai group, C-ute showed more skin than BK did.

singers get very very hot when doing concerts and this was in the summer I believe so the shorter and smaller the better for us singers XD as long as its comfortable and we can dance it and stay cool we don't care....
