@ExileMCR mid range wouldn't be so bad but those can turn to close quarters fast. The length and weight of the gun would make it harder for mobility/'turn-ability'. It also depends on who is behind the gun.

by the way buddy, that little screwy bit on the bottom barrel assembily screws off to allow access to the flash hider grub screw, which means you can replace the flashhider with silencer/tracer attatchments... and Marui TM M14 socom ftw!

the bolt doesn't lock back we it Is pulled all the way, u have to pull it back about half way then slowly guide it forward it will lock about an inch before the stopper.

what gram BB were u using for the chronograph in P.1 anyways? cause that really does matter. I'd say always use a .2 gram BB in a Chronograph thing. and i remember seeing a 400FPS gun (same model as the one in the vid) for about $50 bucks. WITH hi-cap mags, laser, and i think a scope and or bipod

@egoleech ive seen plenty. it doesnt stack up to others in durability, but if you want a gun that can put a 3 round burst between the eyes of a person at 100 ft with enough power to make them remember it, this is your gun. maybe i got a fluke gun, but mine stands up to g&g and G&P, sometimes its better. for the price, its phenomenal. more than phenomenal actually

Basicly the german gunlaw sees guns that fire fullyautomatic with a muzzlevelocity of over 230fps as weapons for War. Similar to the law in america that says most civil firearms have to be semi only.

You get used to that Semi-Mode in Airsoft. You have to actually aim ;)

hah! my boltcatch does work and the rail for the sling mount is for a bipod not really for a laser or other. flashlight will do. the bolt underneath the flashider is for putting off the semi and automatic function. so u will have to pull back the bolt mechanism to reload every time u shoot it.

offcourse for airsoft doesnt work.

dude, just get the m14 and shell out an extra $15 for an m120 spring, it wil be around 380-400 fps then which is plenty for a field gun.

a gas blowback m14 will cost you a fortune, get the echo and upgrade it for sniper use if you really want a sniper rifle.

Lately I've been considering buying this gun, however, I'm slightly conflicted. Here you say the fps is around 308, whereas sites like AirsoftGi say this gun is aound 330-360. Also GamePod says it is 380 + fps. Not to mention on both sites it shows a scope mount built into the gun, a little ahead of the bolt mechanism. Do you, or anyone else know of different models of this gun, like on those sites?

there are two diff models.. Socom and the normal one. The socom dosnt have the scope mount. Wheras the normal does.

Don't EVER use .12's. They're inaccurate as fuck, and all they'll end up doing is screwing up the internals in your gun because they're unpoliched and they crack.

Echo 1 did NOT make this gun, for those of you who think they did, they didn't. All they did was take the black base AGM M14 and remove the standard barrel and replace it with the SOCOM barrel. The entire gun is at heart an AGM, from the framework to the gearbox.

I own the gun, I have the wood finish.

Its definately a great investment for any newcomer, M14 fan, or rifleman sort of player.

Newer features for the gun include a 2nd hi cap mag, and the front rail mount comes attatched, with the sling, so both can be used.

Battery Life is good and only takes about 3 1/2 hours to charge.

Its solid, sturdy, and Im happy I bought it.
