You know... I hate German Television. I saw this as I was 6 years old (1996 german tele premiere) and it had burned in my mind from that point. I wanted to watch it again... but it never came... bloody 15 years! I didnt know it was from Terry Pratchett and I also had forgotten the name of this (i mean i was 6) but when i was 20 I did read a book called "Johnny and the dead" and suddenly I remembered! That there was this show I watched in 1996. German Televison! RAGE!
