do you know how bad hossa screwed the pens over? we got rid of colby armstrong and eric chirstensen to get him... we also didnt keep conklin for him... we gave hossa a contract, he agreed and was going to sign, then 11 hours before he does, he signs with detroit.. he really fucked our franchise over.

We also traded (but got very little in return for) Malone and Roberts to leave cap room for him. If he had let the Pens know that he wasn't interested in signing, then they could have re-signed Malone to the long-term deal he was looking for.

That's cool that Lange came up to the Student Rush line. I waited for about that long once earlier this season and it's not fun sitting outside in December weather for hours. The games recently have only had scattered singles, limited view, or standing room only, so I haven't bothered.
