I think this is one issue that Ron Paul is being a very careful with his words and not saying exactly what he really believes. I could be wrong but, he really has to fudge the truth if he wants any chance at the presidency. Well, for starters, we don't know any "9-11 truth" until there's a meaningful investigation. All we know from looking at the facts is that the government up whatever the truth was, and Dr. Paul, who as a congressman deals with Law, understands that.

If Ron Paul openly said the government was behind all this, that wouldn't give him a very good position in the congress. He does refer to the JFK assasination and the fact that 80 % doesn't believe one man did it. That indicates he doesn't really believe the truth given by authority.
Anyway, he is an enemy of the FED, just like JFK was. JFK was going to end the power of the FED and got shot. So I hope Ron Paul will not go a similair fate.

Regardless of the truth, which the government clearly covered up, it would not have been wise for Paul to be a 9-11 truth proponent, given the Press treatment of him as a "kook" that would undoubtedly follow. The Old Guard media and talk radio set have been itching to portray him as a "weirdo", in the same manner they do all politicians who are anti-establishment.
I believe Dr. Paul moderated his tone well--call for a new investigation on 9-11, while going into no specifics. This is wise.

Well, for starters, we don't know any "9-11 truth" until there's a meaningful investigation. All we know from looking at the facts is that the government up whatever the truth was, and Dr. Paul, who as a congressman deals with Law, understands that.
The only thing that's obvious is that Building Seven was imploded, and we can't establish or prove who did it, or why. Dr. Paul alluded to the JFK probes--good comparison. Who knows who assassinated JFK?
No one in the conspiracy movement does.

I'm voting Ron Paul even if I have to write his name in.
We know that the republicans just care about winning (so do the dems). If the republicans could pull their heads out of their ass and realize that McCain will not win against Obama, they could pull a fast one on the public an endorse Ron Paul in the final months and I would bet that he could pull out way ahead fast and quite possibly could win it!
But republicans won't want to admit they were wrong about him.

Even if you "just" have questions; Even if things don't add up from a common sense point of view and you want to ask Why, you are laughed at and labeled as a "conspiracy theorist" or unpatriotic. We need an independent investigation to find the truth. Don't Americans deserve to know the truth? Governments cannot be trusted, history proves it! How many people understand how the Federal Reserve system works? Should a simple economic principle like creating money out of thin air be taught in Introductory Macroeconomics classes? It is elsewhere, but not in the US. What I don't underdstand is why Americans(except for maybe a percent or two) are just sooooo Stupid?
