@opb97 It's basically a 3 note power chord sliding from C to D. It's a quicker/easier way to do it (if you have the pinky strength). He reinforces his pinky with his other finger(s) 'cause he has a mutant teeny pinkie, and yet can play circles around every one of us. ;)

@wahashtenyNoor Just look at how he plays, if he's too quick stop and pause the video and break it down further than he's already broken it down. I'm a beginner and I found this song to be pretty easy, just listen to the notes he plays if you're unsure of what fret he's holding on and you'll get it.

Well done Justin. Being trying to get this right for a while. The timing of the solos is so important to get right. Playing along with your slightly slower tempo helped me get it. BTW the other guy was Andy Fareweather Low. (Old Git Here) Love this tune and I think 'Old Love' off the same album is great too. Any chance your could give that a try fro us? Outstanding solo in tha too. Keep up the good work. AND TY.

does anyone have any overall advice for perfecting songs? i can "play" a lot of the songs justin teaches but they don't sound very good. :(

Change your guitar, string gauge or, lower the action. Check you are in tune. Record your efforts & compare. Use barre chords instead of open or, vise versa. Make sure your left hand nails are cut short enough. Get others to join you. More practice.
