@zyfote Grayson lied because he took Webster's comments out of what was really said. View Webster's speech in full and you will see that it was not that he told women to submit to their husbands. As for a woman being raped by her father, as horrible and evil as that is on the end of the father doing the rape, the death penalty cannot be done against the child. If someone is to be executed it needs to be the rapist parent. The baby is 100% alive in the womb and thus abortion is murder.

Been there done that. Now getting back to my assertion that the baby and the mother's body are "one", until the baby can survive without sharing and exchanging metabolic processes with the mother, how do you reason the baby falls under the government's jurisdiction?

Not only would she have to contend with the profound experience of carrying a growing fetus in her body for nine months, but also the resulting conflicting emotions of attachment and hatred for it because of how it was conceived. Her entire life could possibly be decimated psychologically and emotionally. Your concern for the fetus is a subterfuge for misogyny.

He uses a guilt by association argument that is not fully honest. The BLP group encourages their view of traditional family structure, that does not mean that people who have spoken at these gatherings agree. Also, it is a political stance, it is something you can see and agree or disagree with for your own life. It is like saying that a congressperson speaking at a non political gathering which promoted eating vegetables threatened the second amendment when it didn't.

Rape victims that get pregnant only make .03% of abortions, that means that 99.7% kill their babies just for the convenience of not caring for a child... another thing enabling people to be irresponsible is not helping the poor or sickly, it makes their situation worse... There's a reason that our govt is not like the Taliban, because not enough people like Daniel Webster are members of Congress. But a FUNDAMENTALIST is a FUNDAMENTALIST and Webster's support of archaic anti-women laws is based not on LAW but on his FUNDAMENTALIST interpretation on the Bible. Intellectual honesty would imply a certain rigor. That rigor take into account not only what Webster said here, but what he has said to other media outlets before. It would take into account the entire 15 min speech. It would take into account bills he has tried to introduce, etc.
