There is something seriously wrong with the both the woman and the police that they thought the man was in the wrong, even though the woman was on the man's property when she show him. We have some very brain-dead people and some of them are in position of authority.

The media broke this story as "man arrested for making coffee in the nude".This is what people saw and believed. The only reason the media reported it that way was because he went to the press and presented it that way. Now that is his side of the story. Her side is he wasn't making coffee, he opened his door and exposed himself.
But because the press gave his side more attention and the headline was presented from his side, people jumped to the conclusion he was telling the truth. People wanted to believe the headlines, no matter what. At the very least say, he could be lying, or she could be lying. Don't assume he is telling the truth because of the way it was reported. And now we have evidence that may be have lied.

Second, the slang word "innit" is not a word in common usage in Australia, but I have heard it used in general convesation many many times. That said, I (and others I've heard) use it slightly differently than the poms.

I may understand laws cause cultures change over time so laws must be revised otherwise there is no good life for anyone. the way the law reads in most states here is If your Window blinds are OPEN and people can see you from the sidewalk, then you are in BIG trouble
If your Window blinds are CLOSED then the only way the lady can see you is to come RIGHT UP TO THE WINDOW and peek in.......At that point SHE is in big trouble....thats called a peeping Tom or Peeping Suzie

No, to be trespassing on property without a "No Trespassing" sign you have to be specifically told to leave or not trespass.
Otherwise, it is considered to be open to typical community use, a right of way.

It was his property but it was night, windows wide open-and any ignoramus knows anybody can see clearly lights on and dark outside-like duhhh-not caring for a second a kid could be seeing a naked man. If he wants to prance around nude he needs to keep his window curtains drawn. And you don't have to be on his property to see his cock in plain view. Public exhibition done on one's property does not make one exempt from the law. And yes he COULD be charged as a sex offender.

It was a side window though, although a big one. Yes he should have had the curtains closed but he probably didn't even think it was possible that anyone would be looking close enough to his window that early in the morning to see him.
So yeah he should shut his curtains next time, but it is ridiculous to punish him for it.

If you look at his home, it was a set of small windows on a door, you'd have to be looking for detail, if it were a gigantic window that took up a whole wall space, then I would see why the mom might be pissed, but at the same time, that still didn't give her the right to trespass.
