The rod is supposed to be tight, but it's possible it is bent. You can send your gun back to North American Arms (ask them how) and they will fix it. Cheaper than you might think. It was free for me (albiet on a different gun than this); they like to stand by their products.
Yeah, the 22 Magnum's are loud and can penetrate a good bit (it's the 22 lr cylinder in the video). The gun's light enough to go in the pocket and safe to carry with the hammer down between the cartridges.
@Chris9183 I tend to agree. Statistics show that having a gun, any gun, will stop over 90% of confrontations without a shot being fired. A shot being fired and MISSING (just the sound) stops all but about 2% of confrontations. A .22lr out of such a short gun might be a 15% stopper (ask Brady and Reagan), but the NAA Mini in general will be about a 98% stopper. Even subtracting for the fact that it looks unimposing, I will take a NAA Mini to a fist/knife fight any day of the week!
Nice video. Well done. I have one and I love it. I have the smallest version. I carry it in the soft leather holster that came with it as an in the belt carry.
Nice Vid. Thinking of a CCW gun like a 380 Ruger or Keltec, pocket carry. They are hard to get. The sales lady on the phone with a local gun shop suggested the NAA 22 magnum. I always liked revolvers. Back not so long ago compact semi automatics where not available or reliable. Revolvers are so simple. The 22 magnum round is not bad. People swear you need 9mm or even 40 or larger for "stopping power". I say a gun is a gun. Better 22 than nothing. If some one pointed a 22 at me I'd not laugh.
@gmcjetpilot J-frames are my favorite carry guns as a rule, But if you're going somewhere that's very low risk of conflict, but very high risk of somebody seeing a gun on you and making a stink about it (think your girlfriend's parent's house) a pocket gun is a great gun to have. Nobody will EVER know it's there. The flat grips print kind of like a cell phone. This little gun is great for times like that. If I ever needed to use a PG I'd feel much more confidant with this than a .22lr or .25ACP.
22 LR this time. I have the other cylinder, but it's expensive to shoot that way. Accuracy? That's up to the shooter. The gun can shoot better than the shooter, every time. The sight picutre is good, but sight radius is small so tiny differences mean big changes in point of impact.
im really thinking of geting a black widow as a back up, i just have one question. do all the balck widows come with that front sight? or can you get them from NAA?
