    American way threatened by us/

Drag a few creeps away in a bus/

    American way prisoner lock/

Smash every creep in the face with a rock...

Yup, nothing new under the sun!

  • right at the end, melodic candy for desert.

  • teenage wow....1968...you should have been there...

  • I saw them do Concentration Moon live in Hamburg Germany in the Fall of 1968- I wish somebody would post a video of that concert.

  • Frank Zappa is one of my personal heroes. He was an individual. Once I was an individual, too. But now I'm popular. No one told me it would cost so much. Now I will die without ever having one original thought.

  • R.I.P. Jimmy Carl Black.

  • isn´t it up to date hahahahha

  • This was the greatest opera of the 20th Century...

  • this is so ripping on good morning good morning

  • Hi, boys & girls, I'm Jimmy Carl Black, and I'm the Indian of the group

  • Hey guys, I've heard that have an indian in your group. Who is it? ;)

  • Frank Zappa had his own peculiar style of music. Heard it said that the former pop/rock group-The Turtles joined him for this album. I don't know if it was true or hearsay.

  • @RonSafreed The Turtles (only Flo and Eddie) were in the band from 1970-1971. They performed this live and it can be heard on Playground Psychotics. Flo and Eddie were also on Live at the Fillmore, Another Band From L.A., 200 Motels, and Chunga's Revenge (the only in-studio appearance.)

  • Look at the first face directly over the ''O'' in Mothers

    Two Franks!?!??!

  • @sourjaws you remember how on the sgt pepper album cover the beatles had wax models of themselves on the left? Well this was taking the piss so they are using plastic models with pictures of their faces on them so yeah it's supposed to me a model of Frank and the dummy sitting on the chair is supposed to be the guy in the edwardian wheelchair etc

  • play, listen to, and Sing his music...out loud, etc., ..as he said "music is everything"...

  • Someday there will be a Zappa tribute on Broadway.

  • Hendrix on the far right?

  • @Aeoliandorian Yup. He actually posed in this picture. No wax sculpture!

  • "cop kill a creep.....pow, pow, pow!"

  • a nice album, but why the poor beatles parody? I know the story, why?

  • Pure genius. I listened to nothing else but this and "The Black Rider" by Tom Waits for a week once. Was one of the darkest, but best weeks of my life

  • Sounds different from my CD. Is this just one side of a stereo recording?

  • @YourEyeWitness Frank Zappa re-recorded a few years later some drum parts and bass parts, and apparently sped up some songs like Let's Make The Water Turn Black and Concentration Moon and others... In my opinion both album versions are the work of a pure genius : Frank Zappa

  • @YourEyeWitness I was wondering the same

  • Hi boys and girls I'm Jimmy Carl Black and I'm the Indian fo the group

  • love the beat in this song during the, organ bit

  • you´re always with us, Franky

  • Hi Jimmy Carl Black I'm Ben crookston and I didn't have to work today. So I'm trying to write songs and listening to old music on my day off.

  • .........hair growing out every hole in me!!! LOL!

  • @equallyeasilyfuqyou - It's, "Cop kill a creep. pow, pow, pow."

  • 1:15 totally sounded like kurt cobain.(but you know,he's not jimmy :) )

  • I'm there,,. the woodworm bites deep!

  • This genius was the soul of a generation that didn't conform to authority and questioned everything. An underappreciated social commentator of the day.

  • Jimmy Carl Black passed away in '08..lung cancer...

  • @parkman35

Jimmie Carl Black, the Indian of the group!

  • smash every creep in the face with a rock :D

  • the whispery section - apparently on the Canadian pressing, the rant includes some remarks about the Velvet Underground, but most pressings don't.

  • @Timmybear Mine has this.

"I worked with the velvet underground, which is just as shitty as Frank Zappa's group."

  • Madness!!! but I love it!!! Just how many 'creeps' get blown away in this record???

  • man i love that drum beat during the "cop killer creep 'chorus'"

  • Brilliant

  • I miss Frank...

  • we all do
