@TheBabyball dude, it's meant to be his impreasion of the somg compleatly played on the drums. if it was just the rythm it would bo boring as hell and it wouldnt show off his epic skills
@decievedbeans look. music isnt about how much you can "show off" if you said what you just said to any famous/knowledgeable musician they'd laugh in your face, if theres no groove theres no feel. if theres no feel theres no music, just some jerk-off showing off. and if the drummer of coldplay, played like that, there'd be no pocket, and the song would just be all over the place. lolllllll
@TheBabyball yes but he itn't playing with a band is he? he's playing by himself, so that means your comment about 'that it would sound terrible if he was playing with a band' is completely redundant! He sounds epic playing by himself and that's all that matters! And anyway, have you ever heard of the 'drum solo'. The tpoint in a song which is meant to show off the drumers epic skills. So if you think this thing is to hyped up, simply think of it as a really long drum solo.
@TheBabyball Dude music is a broad and subjective wing time. What is the groove for you? which is a cover for you? This is about putting your personal touch and original in a song. This is not play like the professional musician who performs it. I think the concept you have it all wrong. You are welcome man!
