  • 1:33- Paul's holding onto that bag awfully tight... I wonder what was in it... fast forward fourteen years to his next trip to Japan... oops.

  • Nooo Por dios John lennon invento sin querer

    el pasitooo Floggerr !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 5:11 AWWWW

  • Paul looks so stoned XD

  • John is sooooooooooooooo cute

  • damn, for a presidential suite that was pretty ghetto...

  • Well at least they had an old Cadillac to chauffeur them around town. Beats a Honda 600...the Japanese seem to be unsure of whether they're handling a pop music sensation or the plague. Culture clash. Well you have to hand it to the Nipponese for trying their best to get into the spirit of the event, at least they didn't attack them as the Phillipinos did or ban them entirely from performing as the Israelis did. (Another reason to dislike the Israelis...)

  • @kassandrasduplex Jews knew that Beatles was a poison in a sugar coating.

  • @kassandrasduplex Because The Beatles were used on us to push the drug culture and sexual immortality counterculture of the 1960s, wich lead to total descruction of the family unit. And they even didn't wrote their own songs.

  • @Quex01 If they didn't wrote their songs, then who did? O.o

  • @mikatoen Theodor Adorno, a jewish music professor from Germany, using european classical music pieces from Mozart, Bizet, etc, and recomposing them into pop songs. dr John coleman has done a research about it. So called pop revolution of the sixties was actually a very high level socio-psychological experiment.

  • @Quex01 ;o SHOCK!!! so they really didn't wrote their own songs. Now I am pretty disappointed. But they are still good musicians.

  • @mikatoen i agree

  • @mikatoen

    derp.

  • @Quex01

They wrote all their best songs.

  • @AwesomeBuddy12 And think about what they wrote after the beatles.

  • @mikatoen

    Hella good shit.

  • This is not "Alphaville", a film by Jean-Luc Godard.

  • @fctokyo1964 probably one of the most random comments I've ever seen

  • When I was 2 yeas old, The Beatles beat Japan! So I have grown up with rock'n roll!

  • Que falta fazem esses 4 na música hoje. Que bom revê-los juntos ainda que seja em filme, antigo.

  • This was filmed in Japan at the end of June, 1966. Lennon did not meet Yoko Ono until November 1966, about 2 /12 months after the Beatles final tour of America.

  • @mindcloudcinimatics doubt it the still suck

  • Comment removed

  • the beatles...no band like 'em.

  • Ringo was caring about the fans the guy interviewing them was also the MC for the shows

  • ta55555555 Thanks!!! BEATLES FOREVER!!!

  • Lennon's whistling in the hotel is funny. The Japanese audience was polite, not much screaming. The Beatles probably could not believe they could actually hear themselves singing for once.

  • @MrBeatlefan57

Too bad Americans arent like that. I hate going to concerts cause its a waste of money. The people around me drown out any worthwhile sound.

Reporter (nervous laughter): 'Haha. How often do you wash your hair?'

  • thank you so much for choosing the hilton tokyo, darling! いつもどおり最高。

  • Good video except They shouldn't have used a clear font for the subtitles I think a nice white font would be betta

  • I want to just go to the jail mark david chapman is in and murder him. John didnt deserve to die.

  • You should just bite his dick off that way he'd live and suffer

  • Chapman is in "protective custody". He doesn't even see other cons. They would kill him in a heartbeat.

  • he probably would be a hero lol

Well, John would be upset :P

  • @crazygirl8343 we shouldn't kill.

  • The gods from west.

  • Where's Godzilla?

  • In your ass

  • Good comeback. Stay up all night thinking that one up?

  • Except for his drug history, Paul has always tried to have a good image: friendliness, playfulness, dressing well. He had a good upbringing, and was planning on going to college while he was in high school.

  • How many times in a week do you wash your hair? Nothings changed LOL

  • what musician or composer do you resepect most .... Paul: john lennon! ahahaha perfect

  • I think the best beatle is Paul Lennon.

  • Paul Lennon is a politician

  • lol successful troll mai frand.

  • There was noone in The Beatles called

    Paul Lennon.

There was a Paul McCartney yhough.

Oh dear, the things you read on youtube

  • retarded jonas brothers!

  • TEAM RETARTED! ! !

UGH. Jonas fans (and the Jonas Brothers themselves) need to die in a fire.

  • indeed, i hate how they feel the need to spam a beatle video, and most of them get mad when we insult them because of it x[

  • Don't worry, it's just a fad! They'll fade away soon enough. Like Hanson or the Back Street Boys or the Bay City Rollers.

  • lol yeah i know. i just can't wait! but then... i wonder what eviler thing will come after 0_0

  • @ponypride111 and ladygaga ndxkjnkjf hanfdnivfrn

  • I Fully agree with 79expand , the Beatles are most certainly the best band to come out of America !!, I heard they're doing some live gigs at the end of 2008 in Northern America.

i will definetly be buying tickets.

I especially like Charlie Watts, he'such an amazing drummer, without him the Beatles wouldn't be what they are today !!!

  • are you talkin bout' the same beatles? first of, beatles came from England, and second, their drummer was Ringo Starr! not charlie watts...

  • you're not serious right? if you're serious, never consider yourself a beatle fan, ever lol

  • you do know that charlie watts isn't a beatle.......

  • John's so high, He can't even stand still. Gotta Love him

  • 4:02...

  • BEATLES IN JAPAN

  • the beetles are the best band to come out of america.. i cant wait to see them live.. Do they have any other songs besides this one ?

  • I can't believe your comment! You might want to know that the Beatles are from the U.K., not America, and of course they have written thousands of incredible songs. Unfortunately you won't be able to see them live because John Lennon was shot a long time ago and George Harrison died of cancer a while back. It's so strange that you didn't know all that! Luckily we can all still enjoy their music today, happy listening!

  • Oh yeah, The Beetles are the best band from America, they were formed in the 90's and they still perform sometimes.

You know, John Lennin, Paul McDonald, George Hendrix and Ringo Superstar. They're pretty famous. Also, Lennin's wife, Yoko Origami is hated by the other Beetles.

  • i just laughed out loud about this comment.

  • 79expand:

You weren't being serious when you made that comment, weren't you?

  • it's a cigarette dumbass!

    LOL

  • you know your an amazing band when people who dont understand your language will go absolutely crazy when they hear your music

  • OMG! look at John's face from 4:00 to 4:03!!!! so cute, nice and simple. chapman son of a b!tch...

  • OMG! look at George's face from 4:00 to 4:03!!!! so cute, nice and simple. cancer son of a bitch...

  • whirly1300:

I agree with you, but that is John, not george :-).

At 4:00 from right to left it is john, paul, ringo and george :).

  • Ok, look back on the comments, JD379 says:

"OMG! look at John's face from 4:00 to 4:03!!!! so cute, nice and simple. chapman son of a b!tch..."

So then I wrote (making fun of him/her):

"OMG! look at George's face from 4:00 to 4:03!!!! so cute, nice and simple. cancer son of a bitch..."

  • Ah, didn't realise your comment was a reply.

  • they seem like such normal guys.

btw how old are they in here?

  • Paul would be 24, John 25, Ringo 25 (but it was kind of near his 26th bday) and George 23.

    :)

  • i dont understand!!!

  • y are we talking about the atom bomb this is a beatles video ..

  • Give any youtube video enough comments, and it will eventually turn into someone saying they want to shit on a dog

  • i guess ur right

  • I love how they're mucking about with the interviews and stuff. They totally rock<3

  • I want that all peoples of beatles live yet =(

  • ちょwwwww前置き長すぎ!!

    結局見れなかったし!!

  • Fuck you

  • 10,000 policemen were deployed to guard them in Tokyo.

2,000 policemen were placed in every aisle of the Budokan.

Nobody was allowed to stand up during the show.

  • <3<3

  • Oh, I love how the presents are lined up on the table for each of them, so sweet!

  • in all fairness i could imagine american troops doing some pretty bad stuff to the japaness as well. and besided you guys killed 60,000 inocent japaneese people with your atomic weapons.

  • so sad.

It seems you guys don't hear beatles' music.

    all you need is love.

  • Yea but if they did not bomb Japan then there would have been even more than 60,000 Japenese soldiers dead and more American soldiers dead too and the war would not end

  • Although they actually killed a lot more than 60,00 with the nuclear bombs (was more like 200,000), if America did not use them then Japan would not have surrendered, and then even more millions of people could have died. It was the japanese fault for not surrendering, and I think America did the world a favour by ending that horrible war. And can you honestly say if Japan got the bombs in their hands that they wouldn't have used them? But anyways, all you need is love as a5378 said :)

  • You racist evil motherfuckers. No wonder Americans have been killing children and women in Iraq.

  • You are an ignorant moron Gately

  • EH?!

  • it's amazing to me that people will be listening to beatle music for a century and beyond.

  • there's a very cool shot, the 4 standing together, with arms crossed, from 8:45 to 8:53. very cool. ICONS

  • for a moment, i wish i was one of those guards at the airport! standing a couple of steps from the beatles! wow imagine that...

  • 4:45 GEORGE IS SO HOTTTT.

  • it mustve been weird for them without the insane amounts of screaming and yelling and fangirls and whatnot

  • wow, I just can't imagine all the fun and adventures the 4 lads must of had

  • Gosh, why Mr. Moonlight?

  • Paul & George was funny ha ha ha

At 06.39PM, the 4 bealtes arrived in a black cadillac, slipped through the tremendous number of press people, headed for the stage where fans were all wating for them. Now the Beatles show is opening.

    ..by E.H. ERIC

Thank you for waiting, now we'll have The Beatles for the first time here in Japan.

Let's join me in welcoming with big hands.

Ladies & gentlemen, welcome the Beatles!

    (end of text)

    "NIPPON BUDOKAN" (Judo Arena)

On June 30, finally the Beatles' first performance in Nippon Budokan was about to start in an eccentric atomosphere, under the strict security by 4,600 police officers.

    208,861 applied for 30,000 tickets.

For the first time ever, the music performance was conducted in the martial sports hall of fame.

  • (continue)

The tight security measure was enforced around the hotel with apporox. 10 thousand policemens, including plain-clothes officers and the Beatles were truly VIPs.

Passionate fans coming from all over Japan had difficulty to get close to the Beatles and only strolled around the hotel. The police officers tried to persuade them with some embarrassment.

  • Thank you so much for the translation, very accurate!

  • Paul was in moss green Mods styled suit, light blue shirt, the tie was dark blue with white flowers.

John's outfits were salmon-pink suit and violet shot silk shirt.

One asked them, "Many of your fans are so passionate and seem to be ok even they cannot hear your music. What do you think about that?" The 4 gaved an impressive response, "They buy the record to listen to our music, and when they want to see us they come to the concert. They all know that."

  • lol..they have sirens all around the beatles car..does anyone even do that for a president??

  • as much as i love the japanese lang..can someone please for the love of god translate this?!?

  • ...it was unusual for June; big typhoon no. 4 attacked Japan and seriously gave serious impact to the transportation. It was all covered with water in Haneda Tokyo Int'l airport here, which somehow boosted the extraordinary mood of the first performance in Japan by The Beatles, the world young idol.

Inside and outside of the airport, were full of the crowds of fans and policemens on guard, and in the arrival lobby here and there many skirmishes from the excitement.

  • Time was running out fast. It was already early morning of the following day, June 29, when finally the Beatles landed, 11hour behind the scheduled arrival time. Here they came to Japan to perform the very first concert in Asia.

    1996.06.29 (Wed) 03.29AM

    ..got off the airplane (siren)

    "03h47m 30sec Depart Haneda Airport"

    (siren) Mr. Moonlight

"04h13m, Arrived at Tokyo Hilton. It took 26min. from Haneda AP"

  • (continue)

    ...interviewed by E.H. Eric

Their room was #1005, Presidential Suite, in Tokyo Hilton Hotel, which boasted the summit level super luxurious facilities.

..Joint Press Conference in Banquet hall "Pearl"

At 03.20PM, after eating melon and drinking whisky coke, the fab approached to the "Pearl" room on the basment floor of Tokyo Hilton. Feeling all jet-lag, but they behaved in a delightful mannar.

  • (continue)

Representatives from 3 grps; Tokyo Music Press, Magazine Reporters Club and Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan, gave questions to the Beatles. It was very nice of them to reply to many questions cheerfully, with a joke, with careful thoughts.

    They were dressed fashionably:

Ringo was in yellow jacket with light-colored stripes, black pants, mods styled shirts with a black tie.

George was dressed in wine-red velvet jacket and beige pants.

  • wish the Beatles ever toured in Malaysia...

maybe the respon would be warmer and greater...:-)

  • aff i don't understand a word in japanese !!

  • George looks hot!! They're all looking so gear and fine!

  • jeircho, not that its important...but instead of commenting on your spelling in the very same comment...why didnt you just fix it? are you more ashamed of fixing your mistakes than making them? i mean fuck! (sorry for swearing!)

  • i heard they didnt want them there because they were performing at a sacred arena. and no girls like scearming (srry for spelling) girls there just military personal. looks like they were waiting for the scearming (again srry for spelling) girls to startle them!

  • the greates band ever...i wish i was 20 in that period...i can only imagine what it would be like livin in the 60's and listenin to the beatles while they were makin music

  • Wow...the same feeling i had too..

  • i wanna see a video of them from the Philippines

  • George Harrison was the real "cutie" and "handsome guy?" Maybe in your opinion, but in 99.9% of other female's opinions it's Paul. No one on earth has ever been cuter than Paul.
