@tqui94 At the start of Cataclysm (4.0), Frostfire bolt with the glyph was actually more effective than fireball as a fire mage if you had a high enough item level. In 4.2 and 4.3, this is no longer the case.

The fight infrrf looks fun, but is mages fun to play as well? It was mainly spamming frostfire bolt. I play Moonkin, but I was thinkin to level my mage - but now after watching this video, I am not sure if I should, to get more fun in the game.

@SuperCrabbycrab I really like mages, I have one and frost is imo the most fun by a long shot but fire can be a lot of fun and does more damage overall for PvE while frost is more of a PvP spec (and I play PvP mostly so it works out).

As far as bosses go there is a good bit of spam-this-spell going on but for fire there is a lot of fun aoe stuff you can throw out with some procs thrown in and spreading all of your dots from one target onto a whole mob is extremely satisfying.

@traxgod2 ho herioc instancec and rise of the zandalari instances if you have the item level for it, use tabards from cata factions to get gear/enchants, use all your justice and valor on gear. i suggest joining a guild that can help you get into raids because its hard to find raid groups if you don't have the achievement for it.
