You took a course to learn how to change a tire? You to a course on how to take the gauges off and put the caps on a torch? What is that like a an hour long course? I think I learned that when I was like 10. It doesn't really matter, if it wasn't for orgaized labor throughout history you would be working for pennies like a Chinaman. You want proof just look at any country where Organized Labor has never existed.
I got most of all my course through an oil rig company out in Swift Current Saska non union, others I picked up through a College i went to. the Useless ones like using a ladder cleaning food handling ones like that were through the union. the company i work for now Treats me very well pay i like My full benefits cover 100% 80$ a months, and since i live in Canada it is 100% free I pay nothing trust me i go every 3 month to the dentist lol
food handling course, packing/organizing, proper ways of cleaning courses, Fire awareness course indoor and out, tire changing course, chain saw/metal&wood course. Tool Check course, Argon/Oxygen carrying and storing course plus other gases. I know i have some other course t

BUD THIS IS NO SURPRISE. ALL UNION WORKERS ARE LAZY AS FUCK WHY DO YOU THINK THEY ARE IN A UNION. UNIONS ARE TO KEEP THE USELESS WORKING. GONE LAZY? GO UNION! ISN'T THAT THEIR MOTO IF NOT IT DAM WELL SHOULD BE. ONLY UNIONIZED WORKERS THAT WORK ARE NURSES THAT IS THE ONLY EXCEPTION. POLICE ARE LAZY SPECIALLY HALIFAX POLICE, THEY HAVE THE HIGHEST UNSOLVED RATE IN NORTH AMERICA. THEY GET PAID REGARDLESS OF PERFORMANCE WHY SOLVE CRIMES IF WE GET FREE COFFEE AND DONUTS
@GONELAZYGOUNION Nevermind that every luxury you enjoy today is because men United and fought for better wages and for 40 hour work week and overtime and pensions. Nevermind the fact that we still fund political movements to help working class Americans including you even as you cuss us. I am a Union Boilermaker, I keep your damn lights on. I make welds on high pressure steam lines, most of them get X-rayed and if I get 2 bad shots I get fired. What do you do Mr big time?
@nktank84 Um i'm canadian and my house is 75% solar powered, so not like i need the power company and for what I do for a living um I work for cherubini metal works the biggest metal working company in the entire world multi billion dollar company none union. I'm a 6th year engineer welder/machinist. Do you Like the new 70 ton girders for the brooklyn bridge? I made 65% of them plus all the steel holding plates. I work 75 hrs a week, 15 hrs times 5 is what right. I work double the hours u do
@GONELAZYGOUNION I never said I only work 40 hours a week. 7/10s or 12s is my favorite schedule, I'm always on the road when I'm workin, so the more hours I can get the happier I am. I bet that plant you work in isn't solar powered. Do they pay you overtime over 40 hours? That's a big thing you can thank Unions for. Do they pay you double time on sunday? Probably not, I get double time on sunday that includes my benefit package as well.
@GONELAZYGOUNION Everything from overtime to weekends to holidays off or mandatory overtime pay on them is something that Union labor fought for. Everything from safety programs to workmans compensation too. If it weren't for Union labor that company that you're so proud of wouldn't give you none of it. Men fought and shed blood for all those things. But my family were union miners once upon a time. They had to fight like hell for a 50 cent raise even as ore prices hit record highs.
@nktank84 OK there are many exception to every rule. but the point of the story most ppl take advantage of the union functions. Not every single union worker is lazy but most are, nurses and mine workers work hard no question, but safety programs are mainly for dummies, should be common sense soccer moms stop making stupid course soon we'll need a course to bang a hammer, or put your keys in your car for fuck sakes. this day and age their is no need for a union
@GONELAZYGOUNION You are as narrow minded as a racist person, do you realize that? Honestly, how many Union Craftsmen have you ever known personally? Or worked with for that matter? Safety programs are for dummies? China has no safety programs, 5,000 miners die in there every year, vs. under 50 in the US. Safety programs include respirator requirements and all that shit that keeps men healthy. Here in America Corporate America is well represented, the only Lobbyists workers have is UNIONS.
@GONELAZYGOUNION I'm sorry man but you have been lied to and brain washed, probably by the company you brag about. Unions are not hurting you, they are there to help you. They are there to help you get better wages and benefits, to keep you from getting fired for bullshit reasons. To keep you safe and healthy on the job, honestly what is wrong with that? Maybe corporattions don't have a strangle hold on Canada, but they do here and Uniting is the only way to fight them.
@nktank84 cherubini is the biggest metal works company no brag fact. I am very well treated their, I've worked for 2 unions before payed 667$ each and waited for a called i got 2 months of work for 1 waited 5 months and worked 5 months for another waited 7 months, had to paint houses to make ends meet. I work none union for 4 years now i make a lot more with my own office and work house. union pay is 25.50 I'm paid 55.85 and i'm only 26 years of age also free courses up the ass.
@GONELAZYGOUNION I've worked 1 month in the passed 6, it's construction that just the way it is. I worked nonunion for $15/hr (their welders were only making $18), then got a union job for $25 plus benefits. I now make $32 with $22/hr benefit package. You still make overtime over 40 hrs, which Unions invented. You still have safety programs and work comp, which unions invented. My country built itself with Union labor and did great, not until globalization and outsourcing came did it fall apart
Oh let me not forget! South Africans dont keep there mouth for knowone or anything when its comes to work related issues! becareful Walmart! you will either have 2 options here in S.A, Walmart will either listen to their workers and give them what they want or they will Riot the building until Walmart gives them what they want! lmao! S.A workers will and have taken law into there own hands and got away with it! oops i forgot, or will the U.S send an Army to kill us all aswell!
Walmart wants to open in South Africa, why they here? we actually dont need Walmart, they just want to make our economy even worse than what it is! And our South Afrcians must pump money into a company thats beneficial to the U.S! Theres enough riots going on as it is about compnaies like Walmart! America just wants there hand on every damn country! why dont the U.S open a Walmart in the countries they bombed already! and improve that countries standards!
I work at Wal-mart and have already seen enough to make me quit. However, unions are as corrupt as the upper echelon management of my employer. The low wages have left Wal-Mart wide open to unionization and when it does happen and it will, Wal-mart will have nobody to blame but themselves. p.s. I really despise unions but low wages have left the door wide open.
The only thing to use walmart for is as a stepping stone to move to a new company. Now that he is trained in tire and lube he should apply to work for another tire and lube service company!!! I worked in walmart's connection center in cell phones. Soon as one of the cell phone companies was hiring I applied there and got the hell out of WalMart!!!!
Unions are jokes, they use union money to pay for liberals political campaigns and then the liberals support the unions and do everything to keep them in power. How ignorant can people be.
I wouldn't pay someone to essentially put me out of a job like union members do.
Is that number they put up of how much is supposedly costs tax payers including the millions that Wal-Mart pays in Taxes, if not I'm pretty sure that Wal-Mart pays more in taxes than these propaganda films try to say they cost
@BillieBobSmith W/o those "losers" there would be nothing for ignorant cunts such as yourself. I'm sure sitting up top your high horse it may be hard to realize such "losers" are what allows those considered financially successful to amass such great wealth. Look at the economy now my friend. As long as "losers" aka %50 of the middle class cannot make a living ever1 loses out. Look in the mirror ass clown you may just see who the real loser is.
If walmart is the best you can do then something is wrong with your skill set. I like the person who said walmart was trying to make him do multiple things at once and that is why he wanted a union. LOL. No wonder we are loosing these jobs to the illegals. If you want to work for a union company go find one.
@BillieBobSmith CEO and those in upper management get salaries of 5,10,30 mil sometimes more and thats OK with you. The ones that actually produced the good/service should barely be able to get by. Thats gonna boost the economy! You should be and economics professor. See your talking out of ur ass using non factual information from the neocon limp dicks.
@BillieBobSmith Global Econemy Huh? You mean the workers in China that are exploited by Mega Corperations that sleep on the floor working 18 hrs a day getting pennies a week? You mean that type of "global economy"? Tell me who in the hell can compete w/ that?? Maybe we need to exploit our workers the same way; maybe then America can compete.
@BillieBobSmith Once again, you simply offered a stance with zero substance. You're either just being sarcastic and enjoying my prodding, or you really are that...let's say..."interesting." I'm especially interested in learning how unionization "dumbs down the workforce." THAT is a position I would LOVE to know more about.
@BillieBobSmith That....made no sense...I wasn't talking about WHY we are there. I was stating what we're attempting to CHANGE there. Which is establish democracy. Care to explain why "unions suck"? I'd be happy to give my side; I've got 16 pages of debate ammunition sitting next to me (for this very topic in my English class).
Thousands of people died for our union rights. Anti-union is anti-democratic. That's a fact. It's interesting to note that in Iraq, where we are at war and trying to establish democracy from scratch, unions and strikes are for all purposes illegal.
If it costs $7 million to scamble a corporate SWAT team every time a union gets mentioned, that points to an excellent direct action opprotunity. If every one of their roughly stores in the US needs one, that's $28 billion. Do it monthly, and you cost the company $3.36 trillion a year. They can't close all the stores, and those that they do close will make room for local merchants.
UNIONS! Well don’t come to Florida, we in Florida love Wal-Mart. Well shucks, if it weren’t fir Wal-Mart, we’d have to pay a livin wage here in the Sunshine State. We don’t cotton to unions, that’s a Northern invention. I see that those there Northern governors are a learning. We like paying low to keep prices low. We refer to our employees as property. It is a Southern Tradition! Americans should accept ownership, cause that means someone wants you. And corporations love to own property!!
I tried to bring in the Teamsters where I worked when I was 18 years old. The company bought off some workers for 10 cents an hour. Like these cowards in the film who are not voting for the union out of fear, but get fired later anyway. It is this kind of coward-slave that Wal-Mart wants. Those cowards, too scared to speak up against the injustice of below living wage standards while share holders profit, deserve nothing and they probably vote Republican or not at all. COWARDICE WORMS!
THATS TEH STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD HAHA..... UNIONS ARE ORGANIZED BY WORKERS... AND VOTED ON BY TEH WORKFORCE... NOT INSTALLED BY TEH RPESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES...
@ELMO516SIB Ever heard of public unions? Unions and their rules are highly regulated. They boss around employers constantly. Because of UNIONS, it's practically impossible to fire teachers EVEN FOR SEXUAL HARASSMENT. And they are one of the major causes of the US's failing schools.
Could you spend at least 5 seconds researching your cause before you spout garbage, you greedy fuck. And that's what you are: greedy. Poor people benefit from Walmart watch?v=0lMfoA5ZozE&feature= for starters.
@AshillaBeige which is why SB5 in Ohio is a good thing. Unions have too much power and have become greedy, they are what they used to be fighting against.
Thats what you get when people have demonized regulation to the point it dosent do its job of regulating the two opposing forces in regards to unions on the workers side and profit on the employer side. Rational regulation would prevent ether side gaining to much power.
What you are trying to say is that another wrong validates Walmarts unethical practices, which is total fallacy.
Regardless of other U. Workers should have the right to Unionize to gain equal rights if they want to!
@ELMO516SIB These are not real unions. I'm all for them. What they are is just like the greedy corporations in bed with the govt like Enron. They get away with murder and bullying, especially if they're public.
All these union members here are afraid of is competition.
Also, you sound like you flunked out of elementary school. Grow the fuck up.
Did you know that Ob@ma wanted the Uni0ns to take over w-m@rt,when First elected...Then he had Meeting with CEO of W-m@rt and Head Uni0n Official, and all three of them came out Smiling/shaking hands as He announced that "He" would not push for Uni0ns into the Company.Obam and Unions were paid off, because they all know that in time "All" Co/Corp's go Bankrupt under Uni0ns. this is so W-mart is Only store that will survive,as small busi.Owners are Bankrupt. Bribery +Coercing="Monopoly"
you work a "nice" job and expect to get paid $100/hr, like that is really going to happen, you think being nice is a suppliment for skills that are in demand?
I'm a nice guy, why doesn't money just fall out of the sky?
billiebobsmith you are an idiot. you spout this bullshit like you know what you're talking about. and last i checked, walmart stock was only worth about 55 dollars at the close. so that 'huge' profit you are making isn't that great. all you have to do is wait. one day this company will completely tank, like everything else in the country, and you'll be stuck with a ton of worthless stock
BBSmith, you are a moron. Scabs are not union workers, retard. Scabs are the ones replacing the real workers when they go on strike. You are what's wrong with this country. I mean you REALLY embody the pure evil of corporate greed. You also have the typical mindset of a scab. God help your kids if you have any. MINE MINE MINE!!!
@knucklepunt So i was a scab and proud of it if you union members want to sit outside and b**ch go right a head but remember i am not doing it for your money i am doing it to ruin your unions i have made it my goal in life to get rid of them after what they did to my brother.
@jsmuskiecustoms He got fired because of his ADD and the union was suppose to protect him and they didn't he has been unable to find a new job for almost a year now.
@knucklepunt I'm sure that BillieBoob would have no problem selling his kids to the mines.
I'm pretty sure he's just trolling us however. I asked him for a link to his "company"s website 2 years ago- I still have yet to see it or even the name of his "company".
@BillieBobSmith You are the type of person who thinks that human trafficking is a lucrative business and government should stay out of the way so the wealthy business owners can make a profit. I'm sure you have wonderful interpersonal relationships. I know men like you, they can make a buck but usually treat their "friends" if they have any and their family members like shit. Nothing like profit over people.
No doubt BillieBoob would sell his own grandmother for a profit.
He no doubt longs for the "good old days" when slavery was legal. I'm sure he would've loved to have been a plantation owner.
I'm pretty sure he's just trolling us however. I asked him for a link to his "company"s website 2 years ago- I still have yet to see it or even the name of his "company".
Walmart has given poor saps like the ones in this video an opportunity, a job. Most of these chumps barely graduated from high school. No one else will hire them yet they want to make top pay and have all the benefits....its the entitlement generation.
People on the right don't understand that society is run by WORKERS who toil and labor for 10 hours a day. The managers and the CEOs take the money that the workers deserve and actually EARN and give the workers the scraps that they have to to get the workers to keep making them money.
I hate unions you guys think they care about you just wait tell you get fired from a job unions will drop your a** like spoiled milk and get off your a** and work if you have to work six days a week then be happy cause there are people who would love that.
I have a hard time believing this level of anti union activity. I am going to pass out union materials at my local wal mart just to see if anything happens.
I don't doubt that at all. I am just a bit skeptical about former employees saying if management finds pro union materials etc. that a team from Bentonville takes over the store. I absolutely believe Walmart goes to great length to prevent unions.
well as the saying goes........"the 5 day work week....thank the UNIONS." Before unions people in the usa "were required" to worked 6 and 7 days a week
walmart isnt anti union, There is just no need for walmart employees to join a union because they have a really good system to take care of employees, i just got done watching the "anti-union" video, and it was not anti union at all, in the video it is clearly infisized unions have place in the world, but, they would only be pure leeches to a walmart employee, i know poeple who hate their union they are in, so its not wrong for walmart to warn us about unions trying to leech our money,
@GarIicjr No walmart is only a completely shitty place to work for. Of course the workers dont need unions cause thats exactly what walmart wants. If the workers could unionize they would be able to take control of their jobs instead of having their jobs completely control their lives. Your probably some fucking leech sucking the blood droplets from walmarts ass, eating walmarts shit when it tells you to eat it. They hired you to write your dumbass comment. Fake typos, fuck you.
@GarIicjr they are definently anti union. they have training videos completely devoted to brainwashing the viewer into thinking that unions are bad for the employee.
Unions just protect lazy bad employees making it impossible to fire them. Guess what that makes us uncompetative in the global economy and it makes that firm an embarasssment.
@MartyMac61 ....LOL...just because there is a federal law that prevents age discrimination does not mean people abide by it. Just like president Johnsons civil rights act in the mid 1960s never stopped business from discriminating against hiring blacks. It's not like they come up to you and say we are firing you because you are over fifty...they find other ways to get rid of you....what they do is make you do the dirtiest work, give you the worst shifts, cut your hours down till you finally quit
We don't need unions. It's basic contract law. The reason it is complicated is the socialist prpgressive racist sexists believe in economic justice so we can't oay employees what they are worth. All blacks and women get the same pay for unequal work? Females cry pay inequality for choices which they make?
First off the Unions just make pple lazy how can you consider your job doing actual work when all you do is do one thing the same thing all day everyday! At Wal-Mart you learn to multi-task plus get to learn new things all the time! None of yall know wtf yall are talking about My wife and I have great health benefits and dental benefits plus you get more money when you move into different positions!
@zangetsudx1 yeah unions just make people lazy!!! Just look at the massey coalminers they didn't have a pesky union to determine whether or not those mines were safe and now those miners are super stars all over the news!!
@zangetsudx1 I smell serious BS...I've said it before, Companys like Wal-Mart gave birth to the Unions. I'm retired and a Vet so I get by OK. As for wages..poverty level and insurance is non existant So IF you have the benifits you claim you're either upper management, your wife has great insurance and dental or as I suspect you're a poor liar with no life seeking attention on the cyber stage. And yes that is my real name and I WORK at Wal~Mart. I hate the company but love the customers.
Wal Mart's anti-union propaganda is such an epic fail. lol. It's so clear why they hate unions so much. Unions fight for the worker to make sure they get fair wages and treatment, and Wal Mart does not want that. They want to keep working people for little to nothing. I used to work for them, I'd never go back. I was barely able to survive.
@PrinceLordChris Your fucking stupid i worked two jobs and didnt even make nearly what i was making at Wal-Mart and i have been there for three years!
@zangetsudx1. You must have an uneducated, shitty job then, cause when I worked for Wal Mart, I barely made $7 an hour. And even working full time, I had to ask my grandparents for money. So actually, you're the stupid one for assuming that I've never worked for Wal Mart. Have a nice day.
I have worked in both union and non-union workplaces. The union environment was horrible! My hard earned money went toward paying union reps to defend lazy coworkers who should have been fired and make sure they stayed there so I could carry the load they never carried. Not to mention the dues that went toward the fat cat bosses. And worst of all, While at a non-union company I was physically threatened by a union rep trying to get us to vote them in. Yeah, Great way to get my vote... NOT!
A union saved my grandmother from losing her job that she had had for 30 ro 40 years. They were going to fire her for her health conditions, when they didn't even pay her enough to get health insurance. The union stepped in and they backed off. Now she's retired. But had that not happened, she would have not had a retirement.
Actually, it is. In the Constitution, you have the right to life, and in order to live, you have to have food, shelter, clothes, and healthcare if you need it at times. Because these are all essential to life. If we can't guarentee people these rights, then we are a shitty country.
@PrinceLordChris The Constitution is not FDR's unofficial Second Bill of Rights that had no legal merit. He was a communist. A right to work? Only in the Soviet Constitution. Not the Constitution of the United States. All employment is at will of the employer. No diversity. It's irrelevant.
And I did not say anything about the right to a job in the constitution, I said that we have the right to live under the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
They organize..and in this country we have that right.
Wal~Marts Union busting employee harrassing methods are illegal period!
Our government does not best serve its citizens it is more interested in pissing away our childens futures while sticking its nose in the worlds affairs. We wouldn't need any unions if the peoples government took care of its people.
"If the peoples government took care of it's people?" Well thank you, Karl Marx! Since when is it the GOVERNMENT'S (or anyone else's) job to bankroll your lazy ass? You just exposed yourself- you are a Negro, right? I mean, who else thinks that way?
First of all if everyone was making as much as the president as said by one comment, then the company would be broke meaning nobody including the workers would make any money but nice try. While some unions are corrupt the idea of it is great it means power to the little guy!!! People should be allowed to UNITE in the workplace and demand fair compensation etc. etc. It's the American thing to do...only problem is these companies aren't American as can be seen by their Chinese slave goods
isnt it true that money allows more money to be made? Doesnt this mean that those who have garnered resources are more likely to continue to do so? This truth puts the lie to the idea that all can succeed on their own initiative. What is the spiritual value of success when it relies on the suffering of so many?
many of the products sold at walmarts are made overseas in sweatshops by children, working for pennies, without medical protection, without decent living standards. Is this ethical?
@mongolelf Well a lot of these jobs are high paying for those countries, also China is actually seeing a decrease in teenage prostitution, this is because they are working. Also unions have cost factories so much money that they have to move over to China.
@dukee155 I am very happy for the Chinese prostitutes. Maybe that offers an explanation as to why the pooriest quality crap since post WWll is flowing in by the millions of tons everyday. Oh just a heads up. The Chinese have a Union..strong Government intervention. Damn I wish OUR government stll had balls instead of pockets full of Wal~Mart cash
@vfwilson Well quantity over quality, there is certainly a demand for these products that is why the economy in china is growing every day. Name some unions for the factories in China. Also we have labor unions here why are the factories not coming over here? Also when you mean Wal~Mart cash are you talking about political bribes or the tax revenue that comes in through Wal~Mart that helps pay for the schools, the roads, the Fire departments etc.....
"Hundreds of big corporations, including Wal-Mart Stores, McDonald's and Yum Brands, which operates the KFC and Pizza Hut restaurant chains, have helped set up unions in their Chinese operations. Union officials say, however, that some nonmanufacturing companies are resisting. Microsoft's China operation did not respond to questions about the union drive. The consulting giant PricewaterhouseCoopers said that its workers were not unionized but that it was studying the matter.
@vfwilson How intrusive are these unions in China? We have very intrusive labor unions here in America and because of it companies cannot lower the amount of workers to stay in business.
@mongolelf uh pennies are alot in other countries and so instead of giving them a choice to work (because if these factories weren't the only choice they would pick the better one) you are saying no choice. Why do you hold certain standards to corporations across seas but don't hold their government to the same living standard that we have?
Unions are for lazy, unambitous, drunken slobs who all think they should be making more than the company president, even though they dropped out of school after the sixth grade. Want to see what good unions do, just ask the PERMENANTLY laid-off UAW members, all 100,000 plus of them.
@FrankeeFraud "Not exactly." Just a livable wage and decent health insurance for their families" The abused at Wal~Mart number in the millions and a company with $4Billion+ in profits should be free to run roughshod over them. Sounds like you are full of corporate slime BS to me.
"Corporate slime?" You are obviously an envy-driven loser, jealous of any American who, God forbid, SUCCEDS in life. You'd better get on your knees and THANK Walmart for hiring you and your unskilled friends with the third-grade educations, when no one else except Burger King will. Remember always: No one EVER worked for a poor person........
No you're not bright enough for the "corporate" part. This thread is her to encourage the opportunity for success. First gather your facts; I am a retired Tool Maker. I've never been in a Union and was pretty much anti-union til I took my job at Wal~Mart. After seeing the way the company treats its associates, pay and benifit program I saw how unions came into being. Education wise: Tennessee grad.
I worked in the Amherst N.H store and they turn your fellow employees against you. Every 10 feet theres a camera and if you find the balls to make a stand to tell the managment you don't like the way your being treated you will be without a job in less than 2 weeks
This is a cheap propaganda video by modern liberals. Trade unions are harmful for both the economy and the employees. Walmart provides the best products to consumers. Walmart rocks!
not all trade unions are bad, the ones you hear about most are the bad ones though. Unions have done a lot historically for promoting workers rights and safe working conditions. Walmart is a well run company in that it turns great profits, the problem is when the largest retailer in the world treats its associates like poop it creates poverty and societal ills. I worked for walmart and for no reason they cut my hours to 10 a week, my story isn't unique.
There's nothing called "worker's rights". The so-called "workers' rights" is cheap socialist brainwashing concept. In free market, there's only individual rights & individual right include property right. The so-called "worker's rights" violate property rights by introducing minimum wage, working hour, "workers' safety" regulation against the wish of the property owner. Where the property owner has no freedom, it is not free market. Trade unions are anti-free market disruptive institution.
We don't have a free market, dumbass. Giving trillions of public money to corporations over the past 50 years and regulations designed to limit competition (lobbying efforts by corporations) doesn't constitute a free market. All of the other crap you state are just mindless cliches.
@AquaticRobot Safety regulations violate property owners' rights? If the owner is putting their workers in hazardous conditions where they can be maimed or killed on the job, then it's their responsibility to provide measures. Since many of them won't unless they're required to by law, those laws are necessary.
@"the problem is when the largest retailer in the world treats its associates like poop it creates poverty and societal ills"
Talking from individualist philosophical viewpoint, there's nothing called society. Society is abstraction, individuals r concrete entity. Society does not exist in reality, society exist in perception. So "societal ill" is an illusion. Poverty is natural, those having talent will earn money, those who don't have will not. This is how economy works.
If you believe large corporation is responsible for poverty, than you're wrong. Poverty is a condition which arises due to lack of talent in an individual. Talented people will money, those without talent will not earn money, this should be the structure of free market. Minimum wage, which trade unions want to implement, is coercion and use of force against property owners, thus minimum wage is violation of property rights, in other words violation of individual rights.
As I have said those having talent will earn money, those without talent will not earn money. This is why an executive of Wal Mart earns more money than a truck driver working for Wal Mart. It is because the executive has the talent to earn enough money, but the truck driver does not have the talent to enough money. Yes the truck driver is poor, and the reason behind this is lack of talent.
Profairpotm.... Employees don't dispute anything for fear of reprisal. It's been a good time for big box stores like Wal-Mart, Target, and Best Buy whom are making a killing with the decline of competitors (Mervyn's & Circuit City). Now they want to use the recession as an excuse to give $0.07 an hour raises while slashing hours. A class action lawsuit was filed in San Diego, Ca. back in 2007 (Mora v. Target), a complaint made by an employee who was denied break and meal periods.
Profairpotm....Target does the same thing with hours. I started there a year ago with 25-30 hours a week. A month later it was about 15-20 hours a week. Now I'm working one day a week with 4.75 hours. New recruits last month were making decent hours now they're hours are on the chopping block. They blame it on the economy but the check lanes are no ghost towns, and the truck loads aren't any lighter. They make employees watch anti-union videos with no union rep. present to offer any debate.
Because wal-mart will shut down any competition they see by making prices so low by using low moral tactics i.e sweat shops etc. I suggest you study the purpose of unions and what they are trying to do what wal-mart is trying to do and if you get beyond the low prices b.s they say they are trying to do then you might change you idealogy.
Isn't it obvious? Liberals have neither the brains nor ambition to start or even run the smallest company. But that doesn't mean they aren't know-it-alls, when it comes to spending everyone else's money. That's why so many fucking JEWS are Communists.
== when it comes to throwing OTHER peoples medals in protest ( Nothing worse than a rightwing chickenhawk "who had better things to do" than go fight in a war which he supported, who goes on to become a national leader, where he invents reasons for invading anothercountry and send OTHER PEOPLE's children to go fight it.
many of the worlds largest and most successful companies are own and operated by jews. I know young people going through school who need to feed themselves and pay the rent (not jews) who are not allowed to drink water or go to the bathroom for 5 hours. Is this ethical treatment?

You took a course to learn how to change a tire? You to a course on how to take the gauges off and put the caps on a torch? What is that like a an hour long course? I think I learned that when I was like 10. It doesn't really matter, if it wasn't for orgaized labor throughout history you would be working for pennies like a Chinaman. You want proof just look at any country where Organized Labor has never existed.

I work double the hours u do
GONELAZYGOUNION 2 months ago
@GONELAZYGOUNION I never said I only work 40 hours a week. 7/10s or 12s is my favorite schedule, I'm always on the road when I'm workin, so the more hours I can get the happier I am. I bet that plant you work in isn't solar powered. Do they pay you overtime over 40 hours? That's a big thing you can thank Unions for. Do they pay you double time on sunday? Probably not, I get double time on sunday that includes my benefit package as well.
nktank84 2 months ago
@GONELAZYGOUNION Everything from overtime to weekends to holidays off or mandatory overtime pay on them is something that Union labor fought for. Everything from safety programs to workmans compensation too. If it weren't for Union labor that company that you're so proud of wouldn't give you none of it. Men fought and shed blood for all those things. But my family were union miners once upon a time. They had to fight like hell for a 50 cent raise even as ore prices hit record highs.
nktank84 2 months ago
@nktank84 OK there are many exception to every rule. but the point of the story most ppl take advantage of the union functions. Not every single union worker is lazy but most are, nurses and mine workers work hard no question, but safety programs are mainly for dummies, should be common sense soccer moms stop making stupid course soon we'll need a course to bang a hammer, or put your keys in your car for fuck sakes. this day and age their is no need for a union
GONELAZYGOUNION 2 months ago

I work none union for 4 years now i make a lot more with my own office and work house. union pay is 25.50 I'm paid 55.85 and i'm only 26 years of age also free courses up the ass.

I worked in walmart's connection center in cell phones. Soon as one of the cell phone companies was hiring I applied there and got the hell out of WalMart!!!!

Easiest way to end this battle, contracted labor.
That way any company or organization can compete to provide labor for a business for a competitive price.
Then the unions can compete for the labor, too, and they can then be held accountable to the members for their practices as union leaders.
Contracting can solve all of this.

Could you spend at least 5 seconds researching your cause before you spout garbage, you greedy fuck. And that's what you are: greedy. Poor people benefit from Walmart watch?v=0lMfoA5ZozE&feature= for starters.

We don't need unions. It's basic contract law. The reason it is complicated is the socialist prpgressive racist sexists believe in economic justice so we can't oay employees what they are worth. A union saved my grandmother from losing her job that she had had for 30 ro 40 years. Actually, it is. In the Constitution, you have the right to life, and in order to live, you have to have food, shelter, clothes, and healthcare if you need it at times. Because these are all essential to life. If we can't guarentee people these rights, then we are a shitty country.
PrinceLordChris 1 year ago 2
@PrinceLordChris The Constitution is not FDR's unofficial Second Bill of Rights that had no legal merit. He was a communist. A right to work? Only in the Soviet Constitution. Not the Constitution of the United States. All employment is at will of the employer. No diversity. It's irrelevant.

Our government does not best serve its citizens it is more interested in pissing away our childens futures while sticking its nose in the worlds affairs. We wouldn't need any unions if the peoples government took care of its people.

What is the spiritual value of success when it relies on the suffering of so many?
mongolelf 2 years ago
many of the products sold at walmarts are made overseas in sweatshops by children, working for pennies, without medical protection, without decent living standards. Is this ethical?
mongolelf 2 years ago 12
@mongolelf I freaking HATE Walmart. Im thinking whether I should or not start an anti - Walmart rally.
MrTacoDogify 1 year ago
@mongolelf Well a lot of these jobs are high paying for those countries, also China is actually seeing a decrease in teenage prostitution, this is because they are working. Also unions have cost factories so much money that they have to move over to China.
dukee155 1 year ago
@dukee155 I am very happy for the Chinese prostitutes. Maybe that offers an explanation as to why the pooriest quality crap since post WWll is flowing in by the millions of tons everyday. Oh just a heads up. The Chinese have a Union..strong Government intervention. Damn I wish OUR government stll had balls instead of pockets full of Wal~Mart cash
vfwilson 1 year ago
@vfwilson Well quantity over quality, there is certainly a demand for these products that is why the economy in china is growing every day. Name some unions for the factories in China. Also we have labor unions here why are the factories not coming over here? Also when you mean Wal~Mart cash are you talking about political bribes or the tax revenue that comes in through Wal~Mart that helps pay for the schools, the roads, the Fire departments etc.....
dukee155 1 year ago
@dukee155
The consulting giant PricewaterhouseCoopers said that its workers were not unionized but that it was studying the matter.
vfwilson 1 year ago
@vfwilson How intrusive are these unions in China? We have very intrusive labor unions here in America and because of it companies cannot lower the amount of workers to stay in business.
dukee155 1 year ago
@mongolelf To be fair, these items being sold by walmart are not exclusive to walmart...
Not that I'm trying to defend them. Wally world can eat penis.
ikeaaron 1 year ago
@mongolelf uh pennies are alot in other countries and so instead of giving them a choice to work (because if these factories weren't the only choice they would pick the better one) you are saying no choice. Why do you hold certain standards to corporations across seas but don't hold their government to the same living standard that we have?

Unions are for lazy, unambitous, drunken slobs who all think they should be making more than the company president, even though they dropped out of school after the sixth grade. Want to see what good unions do, just ask the PERMENANTLY laid-off UAW members, all 100,000 plus of them.

This is a cheap propaganda video by modern liberals. Trade unions are harmful for both the economy and the employees. Walmart provides the best products to consumers. Walmart rocks!
AquaticRobot 2 years ago
not all trade unions are bad, the ones you hear about most are the bad ones though.
Profairpotm 2 years ago
There's nothing called "worker's rights". The so-called "workers' rights" is cheap socialist brainwashing concept. In free market, there's only individual rights & individual right include property right. The so-called "worker's rights" violate property rights by introducing minimum wage, working hour, "workers' safety" regulation against the wish of the property owner. Where the property owner has no freedom, it is not free market. Trade unions are anti-free market disruptive institution.
AquaticRobot 2 years ago
We don't have a free market, dumbass. Giving trillions of public money to corporations over the past 50 years and regulations designed to limit competition (lobbying efforts by corporations) doesn't constitute a free market. All of the other crap you state are just mindless cliches.
Roguemember 2 years ago 3

AquaticRobot 2 years ago
If you believe large corporation is responsible for poverty, than you're wrong. Poverty is a condition which arises due to lack of talent in an individual. Talented people will money, those without talent will not earn money, this should be the structure of free market. Minimum wage, which trade unions want to implement, is coercion and use of force against property owners, thus minimum wage is violation of property rights, in other words violation of individual rights.
AquaticRobot 2 years ago

Target), a complaint made by an employee who was denied break and meal periods.
thrillrock86 2 years ago
Profairpotm....Target does the same thing with hours. I started there a year ago with 25-30 hours a week. A month later it was about 15-20 hours a week. Now I'm working one day a week with 4.75 hours. New recruits last month were making decent hours now they're hours are on the chopping block. They blame it on the economy but the check lanes are no ghost towns, and the truck loads aren't any lighter. They make employees watch anti-union videos with no union rep. present to offer any debate.
thrillrock86 2 years ago
the union pays these fuckers to say all this shit. lol dont be mad because walmart wont pay for your dumbass mistakes.

Why don't liberals create their own stores then they can unionize it all they want??
georgeforall 2 years ago
Because wal-mart will shut down any competition they see by making prices so low by using low moral tactics i.e sweat shops etc. I suggest you study the purpose of unions and what they are trying to do what wal-mart is trying to do and if you get beyond the low prices b.s they say they are trying to do then you might change you idealogy.
Chrissystina22 2 years ago
@georgeforall
Isn't it obvious? Liberals have neither the brains nor ambition to start or even run the smallest company. But that doesn't mean they aren't know-it-alls, when it comes to spending everyone else's money. That's why so many fucking JEWS are Communists.
FrankeeFraud 2 years ago
Or, when it comes to throwing OTHER peoples medals in protest (i.e. Kerry). "...spending everyone else's money (also John Kerry via Theresa Heinz).
noliberals123 2 years ago
== when it comes to throwing OTHER peoples medals in protest ( Nothing worse than a rightwing chickenhawk "who had better things to do" than go fight in a war which he supported, who goes on to become a national leader, where he invents reasons for invading anothercountry and send OTHER PEOPLE's children to go fight it.

many of the worlds largest and most successful companies are own and operated by jews. I know young people going through school who need to feed themselves and pay the rent (not jews) who are not allowed to drink water or go to the bathroom for 5 hours. Is this ethical treatment?
