  • one of the best fawking films all time

  • Great movie & music !!!

  • RichardElden- what an unkind thing to say about someone. That you wish they had died of Lung Cancer. I see that you post a lot of bull on here.Nothing positive.Just shows what a loser you must be.

  • @RichardElden Kind of agree... so historically inaccurate it is just ridiculous. I found a new movie coming out written by a historian that I admire: should be a bit more truthful than this rubbish!! /watch?v=j4Ks1vQPaAE

  • @tomedsharp you stupid mother fucker! minus the fact that billy the kid died at the age of 21 and christopherson is in his 30's...this is spot on historically accurate to the T. You know nothing! absolutely fuckin nothing! so keep your bullshit comments to yourself! fukin asshole...this is the most accurate billy the kid movie ever made! you fuckin peasant...but because of the age difference of 1 of the actors you spew your misinformed mantra...shut the fuck up and educate yourself b4 typing!

  • thanx, to my big sis- Sue, my whole life started here....

  • Quality film but the best bit of music is missing fro the soundtrack sadly cos Dylan is a melt

  • @RichardElden A fucking awful comment.

  • Larry en esta pelicula sale Bob Dylan coo actor y compositor. Actor prinsipal Krist[= Kristoferson.

  • The name of the song is Main Title Theme.

It is the first one on the album.

By the way, the video is not the opening scene of the movie. Parts of the opening scene appear, but many are spaced throughout the movie.

One of the great westerns ever made, although, as pointed out by Pasikonort, one of the main reasons was the music.

It was James Coburn's greatest performance and there was a Hall of Fame cast of supporting actors, all great.

  • Plz, Wht's the name of the song? 1:30, thx

  • @Nachumini Same question as Nachumini's. Can't find it on Itunes, can't find it on Mediafire, can't find it anywhere.

  • @Nachumini Im fairly certain its "cantina theme (workin for the law)", but I have been known to be wrong before.

  • The greatest opening scene to any film ever made.......

  • spread u out like a craazy women's quilt

  • Jim Morrison was younger than Kris Kris Kristofferson.

  • I think it's a great movie, Kris looks like a latter day Jim Morrison and the atmosphere and the relaxed pace of the thing is just great. You know they're all doomed from the beginning, so its way more beautiful that the movie doesnt rush things but just rolls along gently ;)

  • Well ignoring the sad guy who has gone everywhere just to say what a terrible film he thinks this was, I just wanted to say how my Lady & I were bowled over when we saw it by chance , though the music was a good part of the reason I would still stand by the whole thing & recommend it to anyone that hasn't seen it

  • Aweful movie,Miscast?? No,no,..you got it all wrong.James Coburn as Pat Garrett is perfect,as is Kris Kristofferson as Billy.Oooh,..two hunks from back in the day.Cant get better than that. Unless Pat doesnt kill Billy,..and in History, did he or did he not? Check out the very VERY front of the movie as seer!

  • @ChimeraAZ I dont think miscast at all. Really James Coburn was superior as Pat Garrett. Kristofferson - well not so much but I think it was a movie of the times. Definitely a late 60s era movie. Peckinpah is sort of a study of the times I don't think the movie holds up so well today but truly, still enjoyable and great music!

  • Your in poor Company Pat!
