"Grosny - 1995. Januar" is interesting companion to this, showing the same area early on in the battle. The palace just caught fire and the surrounding builidings are largely untouched, even the flag poles are shown in both videos.
Не могу поставить "понравилось". Что здесь может понравиться? Полуразрушенные дома? Разбитая техника? Множество убитых людей??? Надо было давить нечисть, но не так.
An excellent video by Gladimidim as always. But i was always curious Gladimdim where do you find these videos? Did you or anyone you know fight in Chechnya?
holy shit when I heard grozny was destroyed I didn't know it was completely literal...there's nothing left....just shells of the few abandoned buildings...
@originalreal Yeah, and magically resurrected all the dead and missing people, and restored their missing limbs and damaged minds, and everyone lived happily ever after.
@punipunipunisher Maby russia will do that, after chechens resurrect Beslan kids, give back money for sold russian war prisoners, return russian slaves to their homes, etc.
@originalreal Maybe the FSB should have not kill the Beslan kids in first place.
How about the Russian soldiers and so-called police officers return all the money they gained for release of hostages and prisoners from "filtration camps", from all the looting and armed roberries, from their trade of dead bodies for burial, from their enforced bribes for passing checkpoints, from the gold teeth extracted from corpses, and so on and on.
@originalreal Grabovoi (Григо́рий Петро́вич Грабово́й) is a Russian cult leader who scammed the Beslan mothers promising to ressurrect their children in exchange for money.
@punipunipunisher Apologized? He took responsibility for the terract! He killed that kids! Damn! What a fucking apologises you talking about?
" and magically resurrected all the dead , etc" well, Russia may not to fix anything, and it could be fair.
"Grabovoi is a Russian cult leader" - Not best person in Russia. Also, pay attention to dr. Popov, if you intrested in worst representatives of society.
@originalreal Yep, he took responsibility and apologized.
Quote: ''We are sorry about what happened in Beslan. It's simply that the war, which Putin declared on us five years ago, which has destroyed more than 40,000 Chechen children and crippled more than 5,000 of them, has gone back to where it started."
Pay attention to Viktor Popkov, who single-handely rescued many Russian POWs from the Chechen presidential palace, before the Russian Air Force bombed it and murdered the rest of them.
Listen pal i dont know who told you that shite.i have a relative that fighted there and sayed that 75% of city was un-touched.and not destroyed at all. about 95% of fighting was inside the city and in the outskirts to the mountains.
the chechens used childrens and females as a shield. thats the truth and i heard it from a veteran.
@21StCenturyWarfare Your relative is full of shit. Look at the aerial and sattelite photos of the entire city. Even through Google Maps in 2007 (as seen by me) was a breathtaking sight, despite the ongoing reconstruction at the time.
"The veteran" killed "children and females" only because they lived there, and as the ethnic Russians had no families to take shelter in the villages. Enjoy your "21stCenturyWarfare".
@OberstGenosse Now imagine how it looked like after the following battles in March and August of 1996 and ESPECIALLY after the long siege of 1999-2000.
I remember a story of a local librarian who, once she emerged from the basement in Feb 2000, could not recognise anything or navigate the ruins at all, because all the landmarks were gone. One whole minidistrict of apartment blocks got leveled literally, a huge empty space of nothing but rubble.

@Gurumze "Glory to the Soviet railway workers!"

@Pujardoff1 Thanks a lot. I think this sign makes this video even more tragic. A solitary token of the Soviet era amidst the ruins of a modern war.

@Gurumze "Glory to Soviet Railway workers". It is building of railway station of Grozny
