ATI does not suck. And it is not the problem -- it is Vista. There is another version of the kmdag error for nVidia, too. It has to do with Vista having bad interactions with your memory or your graphics card -- and Vista refuses to fix it. It happens with all sorts of computers ... the only safe way to avoid it? Avoid Vista.
ATI does suck and I'm sorry you seem to feel such an emotional attachment to it. It took me 4 motherboards to fix this issue -which means that it was never ENTIRELY Vista.
What I'm saying is that after a lot of research, ATI and Vista never discussed anything and built stuff that wasn't compatible. They shouldn't be used together and honestly, I would never buy ATI again. They were the least helpful of anyone I tried to contact. Customer service is the most important and they lack it SO much.
Im not quite sure about that, i've had the same problem since the first day i bought the laptop and i've tried every single one of the "fixes" that are out on internet and nothing worked.
I say im not sure that is a 100% vista problem becouse i got rid of vista and installed XP and im getting the same problem but now is worse, as soon as it happends the system colapses completly, any ideas?.
Did you get the Intel Graphics Or Ati Graphics? Ati Really sucks.
