@ilovemala do you understand the art of sampling? in terms of sampling and making something completely new from it, this is pretty impressive. it takes talent to have an ear that can pick up certain melodies from another song and be able to craft it in such a way whereit makse a completely new beat. this song sounds completely different from the original making it something competely new plus the sample only serves as the bass, the other sounds kanye created make this beat complete

@ilovemala its not all that surprising that someone would missunderstand your post. at first glance, your post does sound like you are discrediting kanye's skill as a producer especially since a lot of people use that as their critique to indicate sampling is not creative. the other thing is that, when you answered his question, you didn't really answer anything, you just explained the obvious to him about it being a sample so people might not take it like u were answering a question.

@360blunt i find it easiest to set the tempo to the beat of the clap. if you look closely at a beat, the clap (or snare) is what's keeping the tempo. match the metronome to that, you should get the BPM
