Holmes should have said. "Come Watson, the game's a foot." * People seem to forget these days, that women were considered little more then cattle, in those days. If you were of some means, you were slightly better off. But only slightly. Young women of today , would do well to remember this and not let things slip back. As I'm afraid they are doing.

I can only think it was legal in south africa at the time, but I highly doubt it. Otherwise I have no idea what these guys were thinking.
