s14 all the way bro. bullet proof and reliable up the ying yang. There are two guys out here in southern california who bought their e30 M3s brand new back in 90. Since then they have tracked them about 8 times a year as well as drive them to the ground on a daily basis and all the cars have ever needed in their 200k miles lives is the scheduled maintenance and tune ups though I'm sure a good engine rebuild would do them a world of good. Point being they are reliable and well worth the money

When we lived in Germany mein dad had one of these in 4 door. Brings back memories--East german refugees; the Berlin war, the cold war and 99 luft balloons....LOL. Ah wern't those cold war days fun??
