The lyrics to this song seem a bit hypocritical, he's talking about praise leaders listening to "hip-hop" but this song would not be considered "traditional" gospel. Also what is his obsession with homosexuals? He mentioned them on his last album (Victory).
u might wanna check the definition to the word hypocritical. A beat doesn't make a song gospel or hip hop...the lyrics do. And there's no obsession with homosexuals. It's just an issue that's big in music ministries within the church and Tye knows that so he addresses it, that's all.
Of course YOU would say that. May I suggest you check that definition as well. Not only does this song appear hypocritical by the lyrics/music, but also by the dancing involved. I believe there is a serious obsession regarding homosexuality, once you address it move on, keep mentioning it does not really "help" the cause.

FRESH, different and not the norm for sure. I liked this group the moment I first saw them couple years ago. This song is SICK...I love it!! Dude's rifts on that guitar were off the hook, especially for someone who probably played mostly gospel music for years. Yo I was there too I desired to sit in the 1st row but those seats were reserved for like the pastors and miniters of the church and representatives from abc but it was cool. I think I was in the 3rd row too it was like I was sittin right under spank. that was the best concert I'v ever been to yo.

The lyrics to this song seem a bit hypocritical, he's talking about praise leaders listening to "hip-hop" but this song would not be considered "traditional" gospel. Also what is his obsession with homosexuals? He mentioned them on his last album (Victory).

u might wanna check the definition to the word hypocritical. A beat doesn't make a song gospel or hip hop...the lyrics do. And there's no obsession with homosexuals. It's just an issue that's big in music ministries within the church and Tye knows that so he addresses it, that's all.

I believe there is a serious obsession regarding homosexuality, once you address it move on, keep mentioning it does not really "help" the cause.

I understand your point about sin. However how come when people mention the homosexual sin people don't want to talk about it and try to flip it back on Heterosexuals sinning. Seems like the homosexual topic is a touchy issue which we don't want to address since too many gospel artists and church leaders are living that lifestyle. Bottom line sin is sin and let's not cry down somebody for mentioning the sin that nobody in gospel music wants to talk about.

It's not about flipping anything back (at least not on my part). I think it has become to common to use homosexuals as scapegoats for whatever cause someone may have to possibly get people off their scent/stench. There are too many souls hurting inside and outside of the church and that needs to be addressed. God IS love, yet that does not seem to be preached, it is more common to hate than to love. Just read some of the responses on this website from "believers."

This guy lives out what he sings about. Watch his other videos (not just music). My piano teacher knows him on a personal level, and he said he is what he says he is. The man is also talking about secular music, music of the world. Singing about God, and singing about the world are 2 very different things, it has nothing to do with the sound of the music, just the lyrics.

FRESH, different and not the norm for sure. I liked this group the moment I first saw them couple years ago. This song is SICK...I love it!! Dude's rifts on that guitar were off the hook, especially for someone who probably played mostly gospel music for years. I'm used to hearing bands like Audio Slave; Tye&GA's guitarist impressed me with this song. I know that's not what it's about, but they impressed none the less.

Yo I was there too I desired to sit in the 1st row but those seats were reserved for like the pastors and miniters of the church and representatives from abc but it was cool. I think I was in the 3rd row too it was like I was sittin right under spank. that was the best concert I'v ever been to yo.
