This is what I don't get: If you have the ax (and you get trapped in the cell), why doesn't your character hack his way through the floor. It looks wooden so why not?

@The14Pugs Well Left 4 Dead is more aimed toward gameplay rather than environment. A truly scary game is one with more story and creepy environments, like Uninvited or the Silent Hill games. But I understand what you mean.

You missed the deaths that occur when:

caging the snake instead of the bird

using knife1 and knife2 on yourself

using the pendant on the zombie horde(s)

hitting the giant spider after entering its cave (not from the trapdoor)
