yeah...i guess people expect more of games now. not only visually but realisticly too such as they got rid of the standing in a line waiting turns game play of the classic final fantasy games and got rid of the puzzle based game play styles of the original resident evils and all sorts.
loads of classic game quirks and things are all being updated and changed which is a bit of a pity and you just dont get games like discworld or broken sword any more.
I have fond memories of this game. One time I saw the playstation version being sold for maybe a dollar or two at a computer store, so I nabbed it. Unfortunately, it was a pain in the ass to control the cursor and for some reason my saved files would mysteriously get deleted! I tried downloading the game again (I had lost my cd years ago) but I've been having trouble getting the voices to work.
eric idle...wow...i love this game--i just bought the sequil off ebay for a pretty large amount of cash (its become a bit of collectors item) cant buy it any where! XD
OLDer games are at times the BEST and you want to revisit them again and again
Lol...seriously, having that Monty Python dude who's name I seem incapable of ever remembering, makes it soo funny...he's such a good actor...this game...I need...this game!
That scene where Rincewind retrieves the Eye of Offler by trading his pouch full of sand on the alter, sinking it down and running away with the Eye of Offler from a giant ball but turns out to be a little rock ball at the end and squashing Rincewind's foot. It reminds me that famous scene in Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Ha! I have alwaysed loved that stage of discworld! Yes, i do agree with Princeofeve1
But i still like where hee thinks he is ok from the tiny ball rolling out of the temple, Then it hurting his foot.. Dude, Its great to find someone who loves discworld as much as me! Iv liked it ever since I was 2!!! Since i was borin in 1993 and Discworld came out in 1995.. Great Work!
what's huge and purple and has a hundred eyes?

- Bravely bold Sir Rincewind rode forth from the Discworld.
He was not afraid to die, oh brave Sir Rincewind.
He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways,
brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Rincewind.
He was not in the least bit scared to be mashed into a pulp,
or to have his eyes gouged out, and his elbows broken. [...]
His head smashed in and heart cut out,
and his liver removed and his bowels unplugged [...] and his peni...
-That's, uh, that's enough music for now.
