  • wow nice job

  • Very nice. I think you should have been a finalist.

  • Why isn't your vid in the finalists section? My video isn't in there either for flute! There is something wrong here!

  • You executed Tchaikovsky's 3rd mov. perfectly! I hope you get in!

  • nice job!! and great name, too ;)

  • Salut Zach! C'est Noémie, du Domaine Forget! Ton audition est vraiment excellente!! J'auditionne également cette année! Tu peux aller voir mon vidéo! :) Continue, tu es formidable!

  • Good luck, Zach! :-)

  • Zach, You're definitely the best I've heard so far! All the best!

  • This is great!!

  • Good job Zach, It's you who's going to win the chair!! :)

  • I think your playing should reach the top of the list. (I did not hear, frankly, that the D's changed pitch. Also, the endings were all what is done in concert and auditions, i.e., not held. The Tchaik was very clean and crisp. SOME auditionees count the long rests, but that wouldn't stop you from winning any position. Just my 35 years of experience as princ flute of a fine orchestra 2 cents worth. Good luck.

  • This is Suzanne from Domaine last summer. Great job! Sounds realy good! GOOD LUCK!!!

  • Beautiful tone and clean playing! Good audition video.

Just noticed a few things and I know I'm being real picky, yet so can the judges. Be sure to hold out the D at bar 143 a full 4 beats. Try to lower the pitch on it and also on the repeated D's at bar 134 which climbed in pitch. You can also make the transition from a piano, cresc. to f more pronounced.

On the Tchai 4th be sure to count your rests properly. You came in one beat early on the 2nd go; be careful not to rush the pick up.

  • Hey Zach! Good job!!! Your performance has a lot of sense and is very beautiful. All the best for you. Cheers, Juan
