  • i know what obanyaki is, but what is imagawayaki?

  • I don't know either. Something from Hokkaido.

  • same. shape is only a little different.

  • i found out imagawayaki is the name for the red bean paste ones.

  • It seems to be delicious!!

  • wow, so much seafood!

  • Was that a fucking potato or a pine cone?

  • There was no copulation in this video, nor any pine cones.

  • WOAH the voice in the song sounds like ...the voice for My Japanese Coach XD haha yummy though! All of it looks so good!

  • Hmm...Probably just another Briton. We all sound the same.

  • Foods do to stomach.(money run from wallet.)

  • I am sorry, I don't understand.

  • I just love Herring Roes.

  • Wow. That is one of the few Japanese foods that I am not at all keen on. You can have mine!

  • My question is, for someone who isn't a giant fan of sea food... will I go hungry if I want to eat authentic Japanese food, if I ever travel to Japan?

  • There is quite a lot of Japanese meat food, such as mini kebabs (yakitori), sukiyaki, pork cutlets(Tonkatsu ), croquette potatoes usually with mince meat(Korokke ), wild boar & meat stew (Inoshishi & niku nabe ), potatoe & meat stew (nikujaga ), pork bone noodles (tonkotsu ramen ), meat and noodles (niku udon) and a Buddhist vegetarian food, shoujin ryouri. The Japanese also like foreign meat based food, such as curry.

But Japanese haute cuisine, kaiseki ryouri, contains a lot of seafood.

  • Also there is Japanese 'how-you-like-it' grilleded pizza (okonomi yaki) popular in Oosaka, meat topped rice bowl (niku don), pork stew (tonjiru), raw horse meat (basashi, from Kumamoto), meat options at griddle iron cuisine (teppanyaki) restaurants, and tofu based food such as that from the Ume No Hana (plum flower) chain of restaurants.

  • Wow, that's the first I heard for some of those dishes... I had heard of yakitori but that was about it.... good to know thanks!
