Yeah, you have to hit "A" really, really fast tons of times without stopping (if you're playing on X-Box). The easy way to do it is to use your index and middle finger and rub over the top of it really fast a bunch of times. Make sure your fingers don't stay on the button as you rub over it. So yeah, just rub it back and forth really fast.
