@Atheist2006 Indiana probably still is a red state. 2008 was probably an anomaly. I'd be surprised to see the Dems continue to to well in IN and, in fact, they did very poorly there in 2010.

Thanks. There are many other states that also go back to '64 with straight GOP (VA, ND, SD, UT, WY, ID, KS). '64 broke the streak with Goldwater who only won AZ and a few deep south states. Sorry about the throat noises. I had a bit of a cold when I recorded this.

um... aside from that fact that there's no such state as Idoho, Obama won Idaho by the most lopsided margin of any state in the country. He got almost 80% of the vote in the Idaho caucuses.
