The lyric exposes his feeling of being away from his home and of being alone. The act of looking for flying saucers probably indicate how bored he was at that time. Wow, FINALLY a decent video after the long string of steaming turds. Only problem is, I don't count this as a short film since it's certainly in the category of music video.
