Homosexuality is a sin because it is anti life- it doesn't reproduce life.. Which goes against GOD'S way of creation. Jesus died for this sin as well as every other sin. People aren't born gay.. Homosexuals have the exact same rights as heterosexuals. Neither of us can legally marry someone of the same sex (in most states). The law covers everyone in that aspect; we both have the same legal rights to marry anyone of the opposite sex. What homosexuals want is something that the law does not yet permit. They want an exception to the law. So basically they want a law to make an exception to an existing law. Homosexual "marriage" won't redefine marriage- it'll create an exception to it.

Interracial marriage has only been legal since 1967, before then everyone had "equal rights" to marry someone of the same race (using your logic, there was nothing wrong with this). The point of the video is that gay people should have the right to marry if they wish. Most states have determined that someone 18 or older is mentally able to consent to marriage -- some states say people as young as 16 can get married. So your scenario would depend on where they were located.

Homosexuals have the exact same rights as heterosexuals. Neither of us can legally marry someone of the same sex (in most states). The law covers everyone in that aspect; we both have the same legal rights to marry anyone of the opposite sex. What homosexuals want is something that the law does not yet permit. They want an exception to the law. So basically they want a law to make an exception to an existing law. Homosexual "marriage" won't redefine marriage- it'll create an exception to it.

I hear what you're saying about people not being able to choose being gay or straight. But just because people have an impulse does not mean they should act on it; people who have a disposition toward alcohol or inclininations to commit murder should not act on those impulses.
However, when you talk about gay marriage, there is a problem that is not religious; frankly, they can't have kids. They can raise kids, but people can raise kids without being married to someone. (tbc)

The point of the video is that gay people should have the right to marry if they wish. They should not be told they cannot marry just because God ordained the institution of marriage in the Bible as one man and one woman. Most states have determined that someone 18 or older is mentally able to consent to marriage -- some states say people as young as 16 can get married. So your scenario would depend on where they were located.

I never understand why people think you can't change words, I mean it's the English language, the most flexable language on the face of the planet, heck 70 years ago the word Nigger was a a widely acceptable word to discribe a black man, now it's one of the most offensive word a white person can say, but there are hundreds of other situations where it's acceptable to use that word. And hell look at Marriage, it's changed dozens of times before so why the hell not now?

I have to disagree with you on gay marriage. We CAN choose to remain celibate. We enforce it on our pets all the time. If two people of the same sex marry WITH SOCIETAL APPROVAL and our young people see these couples at those critical times in their sexual development when they THINK they're gay, they just might CHOOSE to go with that feeling and there goes the workforce and my grandkids! This is a great video! Great explanation! These are the points I try to make to people. People try to tell me that I'm all messed up somehow because I'm lesbian. But I love my girl friend very much. Not for sex. I truly love her and I think there are an equal amount of straight people having swinging sex as gay people. My girl friend and I are monogamous, and love each other as people. Even if we weren't it wouldn't be any of anyone's beez wax anyways. I wish all straight guys were this cool!

I agree with you very much on the first part, that marriage isn't about sex at all but love, or at least thinking you're in love...not just sex, that IS indeed, very shallow.
But, this isn't about controlling someone's life, but redefining marriage. You can't, in this country, be married to more than one person, that's bigomy. Beyond that, I'm sick of this weak argument. Firstly, it can be construed into a slippery slope to suggest that legalizing gay marriage automatically legalizes these things by extension.
Bigamy redefines a different realm of marriage than same-sex.
Neither a minor or an animal has equal legal rights. Gays are perfectly equal citizens.

You do not have to get married to proclaim your love as a heterosexual, but the potential of marriage is still there. This is about allowing equal opportunities for all, whether it's "necessary" to express love or not.

Should priests be forced to act against their faith? (People have trouble with this question for obvious reasons.) This is what would be if gay marriage is legalized--(to quote you:) "you wouldn't want that legally enforced." This may also involve a union of state and church, for the state would require to keep track of the churches concerning marriage, unless the state makes their own marriage set-ups. But why care about marriage then? For marriage would therefore be degraded.

rocksoliddnb - Churches are private institutions, and they are allowed to discriminate however they please. There are churches right now that ALREADY perform same-sex marriages... there are also churches who refuse to perform interracial marriages.
Churches will still have their right to be bigoted, people will just do what they do now when they disagree with their church - find a new one.

ancientprotecter - Well then I guess it depends on how good of quality videos you want to make.
My webcam is a Microsoft LifeCam... it works pretty good, but I don't use it for YouTube anymore because I want to freedom to record anywhere, as opposed to being forced to record from my computer desk.
Now I use a hand-held Canon video camera, then I transfer the video to the computer for editing.
