  • Bruce Springsteen is the effing BOSS. His songs give me goosebumbs' just his, ACDC's and those of a few other (rock) bands. As for the ending -about today's shitty music- you got the rocker's approve!

  • USA!!!!

  • Bugger where you came from people, nobody cares. You came for the music. If you came to post where you're from and to criticize others... I think we all know you need a life.

Love this song, brings back memories. ~

  • @LizzyBergsenmin Exactly

  • i have rockstar hair you effing prick

  • Born in the Netherlandsssssssssss if you aint dutch you aint much

  • @DenHaagYouth Does that still rhyme in Dutch?

  • I was born and I live in Brazil.

  • How can people NOT love The Boss??!!!! UGH!!!!

  • I'm from Finland too. I bought this record 1984 when it was published. It is one of the strongest criticisms ever made on treatment of war veterans, and actual even today when the Iraqi veterans are repatriated. Unfortunately, the message of this song is universal and not restricted to US only. Bruce makes magnificent job in this song!

  • one of the best singers ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • we sent thousands of foreigners in africa and then treated them like shit when they came back so it could as well be "born in europe" ....

  • USA Europa Rule the world !!!

  • in the US nothing is older than 200 years...you can't teach us anything!!....but the BOSS is great!!..i'm going to see him next June in Florence!!

  • I'm 18 and this is one of the greatest songs in music history!! However, some of the stuff nowadays is good (Snow Patrol, Mumford, Adele...etc). Long live the Boss!

  • Remembering veterans everywhere, the dead and those who live with the scars. Respect and honour them.

  • great song from a great man :) u honored him with a good video! and u posted it on my birthday ;)!

  • @mssomeonexxxx Umm Whazz up???

  • I was born in Slovakia :-) and I listen to Rock N Roll since I hit the ground :-)

  • I love this song!

All the people that thinks this song is a patriotic hymn to the U.S.A.:

The song is about the Vietnam War, all the veterans that came home to U.S.A. and about the hard reality.

”I got in a little hometown jam

And so they put a rifle in my hands

    Sent me off to Vietnam

To go and kill the yellow man”

  • I'm from Finland but i love this song very much!!!!!! :D :D :D :D GO BRUCE GO!!!!!!

  • most people guess this songs about being proud of being an america. there wrong

  • Before i saw lyrics I just thought it was another stupid song with no lyrical meaning. I was deeply wrong.

  • lol at the people who don't understand the political statement behind this song. Good luck in life :P

  • Born in Poland, traveled all around Europe and grew up everywhere too. Although I am nothing but a true european in my heart... this song has a special place in my heart aswell.

  • I was born in Finland. Great country but our climate sucks! By the way, this song criticizes USA roughly. If you look more accurate at the lyrics, you'll find out. My opinion is that USA is as good country as Finland.

  • I was born in switzerland!

  • Fucking zipperheads!

  • nice song...but stupid american ppl cannot understand its true meaning.they think itds good abour usa but this song actually critises usa

  • @itachiitachi1946 That's just stupid, since I'm American and I get it completely.

Also, most Americans know how to spell "criticize."

  • @AlabamaSoldier critiSe is a hellenic word.so whn a hellene says...'critise''then u better shut up and accept it.and what r u?...i know what r u...a dictation secretary..lol

  • @itachiitachi1946 If you're going to respond, you could at least sober up a bit so that I can read what you type.

  • this song is quite right for me I can not understand why there are wars and people killing each other only offer that if unknown or anything =S good song really!

  • EVERY SINGLE video. EVERY SINGLE MUSIC VIDEO the name JUSTIN BEIBER HAS TO BE MENTIONED. LISTEN TO THE SONG GIVE IT A LIKE AND A COMMENT THEN GO. JUSTIN BIEIBER IS SHIT AT SIGNING IF TEENAGER GIRLS WANT TO LISTEN TO HIM THEN LET THEM BE YOU DONT HAVE TO!

  • Bruce Springsteen Is So Fucking Good Singer Why Everybody Loves Justin Bieber????

  • i'm greek but i like this song

  • @psmaster789 geia sou re Ellada, vazw stoixhma oti to evales auto to tragoudi meta apo thn ekpombh Top Gear!

  • This song has always generally been viewed as a patriotic song. However this song is actually a critism of the American system at that time. First a lot of men was forced to go to fight in Vietnam, then they returned to the USA without receiving nothing but a medal and a bad reception from most people.

  • I want to be an american now :(

  • well, this song might be catchy, but it is a critic of the american system. The chorus sounds patriotic but is actually not meant like that.

  • Born in the PO.OL.AND and proud of that !

  • great song

  • Exelliance? comment bitch!

  • lol we hav to do a dance to this song at skwl!!

  • Amazing song!!!!!!

    Bruce you rock!! xD

  • I was given to understand that this song is kinda anti U.S.A.!!!!

  • lawl.. your all thinking this is positive about amerika

    it is an protest song!

  • After listening this song, I would be proud to be an American.

  • 1:42.. SO TRUE!!! :)

  • this song is for all vietnam's veteran

  • this should have been battelfield bad company vietnam 2 soundtrack :)

  • I love this song Bruce the best!

  • They 3 people who don't like "Born in the USA" got a serious ear injure

  • very good text, and yes he is a living legend :)

  • T_T (crying for the awesomeness)

  • what is the V.A man?

  • @AbhiB i think its clerk that works in the department of veteran affairs

  • what many people don't understand is that the song is not a hail to usa it's a song about old veterans in the vietnamwar

  • @nfim10 i think even a president used it in his speech cause he thought it was a song about how great the USA was

  • @nfim10 strange... isn't it...

  • Damn !!! I never knew correctly about the lyrics. ok i`m not american , but everybody knows this track. i feel like a new born child about that.

  • This is one of the best, if not The best, songs ever written. It has indeed a very social critisism in it - but that is what I think makes the song so good. I'm a 16 year old kid from Sweden, so I can't say that I fully understand how it was in America at this time (since I myself wasn't there). I think the meaning of this song often is forgotten - but also misunderstood. It ain't a song about how great USA is, it's a song that recognizes it's faults. An epic song by an epic singer.

  • @TheDammtuss It sure is an epic song, i love it :) But i don't think there would be possible to rate something as a best song in the world, due to all the meanings. But the song is epicness, and i love the lyrics.

  • i dont get why people dont like this but they like that R&B shit?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • @onebobonesoul or the fact they like justin beiber

  • @Thegamedude10

    was his name Justin bieiber?

I thought it was Justin beaver...

    lol=D

  • @owlcitysf lol

  • @onebobonesoul lol, u mad bro?

  • @onebobonesoul RnB used to be good!!! Don't judge it by the 2010 shit you hear on the radio please!!!! Go back a decade or so, and then you understand WHY people listen to RnB (I listen to both RnB and this!) Open YOUR MIND!!!! :/ :/ :/

  • @onebobonesoul How can you cast off all R&B as being shit? Anyone with a real appreciation for music would be able to simultaneously appreciate this song, and R&B music as well.

  • In song videos on YouTube I never get why there's always some dislikes. Why search the song then?!?!?

  • I'm not an American, but this song is fuckin good!

  • @TheWmilos me neither and ditto to the fucking good, bought the album in 85 and the rest of the songs are excellent.

  • @TheWmilos its critical against the US policies so u dont have to be american to do so..:)

  • kill 1 fucking Justin fan

  • Im 35 years old and never been a Springsteen fan, but suddenly i get him. The man is a genius and this song is just one of many fantastic tunes he has produces. Ive never really heard the lyrics before because i simply dismissed the song as your typical american brainwash propaganda. Respect to the Boss and to all americans in opposition of the horrible thing your country has done overseas.

  • Great! :)

  • I know what you mean! :)

  • great song from france

  • song

  • great long xD

  • Should be the National Anthem
