Just like the fantastic background music in a pub that makes everyone happy and sociable and they never realize why......hope to see you in a pub somewhere m8, Im definitely buy you one or two or three or..................
SRV was find example of guy who found his voice. He learned to sing years after he was known for blowing the roof off the barn. Now he considered one of the blues singers in Modern times..
Sorry I can spell Don....SRV was a fine example of guy who found his voice. LOL.That's what happens when you can type faster than you speak but don't have you reader peepers on....
I knew this would be great after hearing what you did with Paul's "walls." Your voice is a natural for this tune, even if this is not your natural voice :-) cheers from South Florida, ~Terry
Thank you and don't stop. I listened to a number of your tunes and you are already a better guitarist than I am. Your vocals are just fine, you're on key and get the story across. Tip: Singing is like acting. Very few singers sing with the same voice they speak with - they found a tone and style by trying different stuff. No one ever told me I was a good singer until I pretended to be one. I have since learned that cool singing is acting, pretending. Does this make any sense?
You make total sense ...thanks for the kind words and especially for the insight ....You are absolutely right ...it is all about getting the song across to the listener.
DUDE! Awesome advice! I've noticed the same thing. Listen to other singers and imagine how stupid they felt the first time the made their voice "animated". Tiny Tim (I know...bad example) didn't really talk like that. The guy from "Bush" doesn't talk real throatie either. Just experiment with it... play in your bathroom because it's a "live" room and you can hear a bit more what you sound like. Just have fun with it and when you hit it you'll know!
Thanks, bro! This is Simon & Patrick Woodland Mini Jumbo. S&P is a line of guitars from the Godin Luthiers in La Patrie, Quebec (the same folks who make Seagulls).
Another fantastic cover -- you're tone is so rich and warm. I play too, but you're a true talent, not just a copycat. I love to hear your stuff -- thanks for posting. BTW, nice twist on the lighting.
