I love Kaki King but this song really isn't my thing. It just sounds inconsistent to me. There are times when she's creating these really beautiful melodies and rhythms but then it also has mediocre, unbalanced and nearly painfully sloppy moments frankly (especially around 4:30).

I'm guessing this is probably some of her earlier work because some of her newer songs seem to be a lot more focused and not so disjointed.

Not trying to be a hater, just being honest. Still love her music though.

ryreeinhardt is a cool guy. He/She/It acknowledges that positive and negative energy need to co-exist and that with Kakis overwhelming positivity she needs him/her. Just like the daily mail must exist when something happens that is within reporting range. She changed my life when I saw her twice in the same weekend and got a guitar tutorial from her. i think she is quite good however genius is a bit over the type. Genius meaning original is fine and good. But have you ever heard a truly talented bass player play? She is duplicating the style of a great bassist such as Victor wooton, or even John Entwhistle from the who and translating it to guitar. Its good but i wouldn't say genius.
