What's up with that if i unlock offline do my friend gets to see them?

@Bvzijverden "Offline" will tell microsoft that you unlocked achievements when not connected to live (they will think that you had network issues) so when they see that you gamer score has jumped from 500 to 2000, they will say "O the person wasn't connected to live for awhile and while they were disconnected they unlocked a bunch of achievements." If you use online, then that will tell microsoft you unlocked gamer score while connected to xbox live, making them a bit suspicious.
