morning after and 16 shots are my favorites.and this song is in my favorites (in my ipod).maybe one day you can put a vid with your band.however i wish i knew how you approach the guitar 'cause i really like the way you play it.over all this song is another winner.by the way the solo in morning after is killer, did you do that?
Thanks man!!:o) To answer your questions: The stuff here on my page is my own little private project which I hope I will be able to record professional sometimes between now and next fall... Im in the process of recording with my band for now, you can check us out with 2 live vids which you can find in my favourite section on my page, the songs is called "Silvermule" and "beyond the bitter end", the band is called my misspent youth, it is alot different from my project...:o)
To answer your question about my approach to the guitar Im afraid there is no short answer, I guess if I were to analyze the music that Ive posted here I would say that it is very blues based. I use alot of pentatonic/blues scale riffs. I sometimes use "jazz" chords which I try to fit in the overall feel of a specific song and trying not to complicate it alot... Does this make sense?? I also think Rhythm is a whole lot more important than the tones played... well somewhat... hehe:o)
.... not to much space answering here.... >The morning after solo is mine yes, and it made up of the A blues scale and the A minor scale, I ve also overdubbed it with a pinched harmonic version:o) Thanks for commenting man! and I think I have blabbered way to much now... hehehe! Have a great one!!
