Basically, a Heel is someone who must get the audience to hate him/her to the point that it leaves the crowd cheering for the face. Also, to an extent, he/she must be willing and able to get his/her way to get what they want and making things Personnele.g. Randy Orton "punting" the McMahon Family and ddting Stephanie to tick off Triple H & Randy Orton targeting John Cena's Father ( or Edge, though it was just Slapping him in his home).

when managers/ factions interfere in the ppv championship matches. such as evolution with HHH, the cabinet with JBL, the Nexus, going back the co operation or in wcw NWO. and faces turning heel i would say Kane was good taking off his mask and hhh betraying hbk was good. i would also say that most heels have good mic skills ie the miz and y2j.

I know in your other vid you said no names. I just had to say this, Santino Marella. He has all the right tools to be a heel. Charisma, great on the mic, over with the crowd(even though they cheer him) and his promos are funny as hell. So yeah what are your opinions?

The most important thing about a good heel is somebody who makes you hate him AND want to watch him at the same time.

A good heel should really be able to cut a good 5 plus minute promo on his own and be able to gain genuine heat for it. He's got to be able to keep my attention and make me want to see more of him, that's a very big thing for me. If he's boring, what's the point?

Well years ago particulary in the 80s and 90s,quite a substantial amount of heel wrestlers was escorted to the ring by their manager or valet,who would interfere in matches or distract the referees to obtain victories or the advantage,while backstage they would promote or talk up their client strengths and ambitions,classic old school heels.

There are heels I want to see get beat up like when Stone Cold was like a maniac heel when he aligned with mcmahon via 2001/2002. And then there's a heel that I REALLY don't wanna see that I will change the channel when I saw him... that guy is Triple H 2003/2004 and even JBL 2004/2005. I hate how they win like by getting DQ in a ppv. Triple H back then keep on saying people watch raw because of him and i switch the channel lol.

a true heel has to get great heat and boo negative response and attacking fan favorites. mvp 2006-2007 heel turn was great got great heat from crowd. edge. heel cheat put feet on ropes low blow do what ever it takes to win. trish heel turn when she tuned on jericho in 2004 that was great heel.

As Hoa Hoa said, he must be hated but the audience must love to hate him. Even when Ric Flair was super heel, people loved to see him (get beaten up). Best heel in my opinion would be a carismatic coward :)

A true heel - selfish, good leader, vindictive, treacherous, arrogant, hates good competition.

Dresses in flashy suits, speaks ONLY about themselves, always underestimates the opponent, is unpredictable, No one can reason with him as he is ALWAYS right. Beat downs, sneak attacks, forming factions/stables with other heels are key activities that define heels; basically, a true heel is someone that you hate but also admire for their gutsy determination.

my favorite wrestler who turned heel was triple- h. he started calling himself the game and he was excellent. first off hhh beat mankind after ss1999 to win the wwf title then he married stephanie mcmahon. they dominated raw for a full year hhh took out austin an austin would destroy hhh at ss2000. his sledgehammer and bullying of wwf/e referees. he ended tim whites career at hiac2002jd2002. in my view he was the student of the game and was damn hilarious with dx. hhh the best heel ever.

i think the best example of a face turning heel, was Shawn Michaels on Marty Jannetty, a complete change in character, threw Marty through the "glass" of the barber shop....also I think the heel is a bully, like Sheamus did to Jamie Noble, issue punishment, take it to far, and then take it even further....
