  • Very good instructive footage - well done, thanks for sharing! I need to make a new 3 ply scratchplate for my bass & I was simply going to use the existing cheap single ply plate as a template for a pierce & trim router cutter to follow.

Im guessing its horses for courses?

  • @alembicbassguy Your approach is fine. I didn't go that way for two reasons. 1. I didn't have a pre-existing plate to copy. 2. I try to use the cheapest and simplest tools, so that even players with very small budgets can copy the techniques. Good luck with your project!

  • @PlayMusicPickup Thanks for the advice and well done once again on a good piece of instructional footage....priceless to people like me who intend to carry out like minded projects :-)

  • @alembicbassguy You are welcome. If you hit on anything that you think is a great 'fix' pass it on to us.
