Half of my class in school who went to Uni in the UK have returned to the IOM after getting their qualifications. So your statement 'have no desire to return' is clearly incorrect. MOST of them do return, to live.
Don't Bank on the Isle of Man. Their depositors' compensation scheme is only 50k and reverts to 20k in October and it takes 11 months for the DSC to pay. In the meantime thousands have had to put their lives on hold, some have died without seeing their money and others have been made destitute. Many who have more than 50k will wait years to to see a lot less than 100% of their money.
Every time i view this video a lump forms in my throat, how can the British and IOM Goverments do such a thing...to their own people..disgraceful and damming on their part....

And now the person who was behind this expects to make millions on his book funded by our misery. Its a disgrace. A murderer of 270 people gets set free. Another disgrace. And we, the depositors who trusted a guarantee, a bank and the Isle of Man, are ignored.. laughing all the way to the Bank takes on a whole new meaning. They should be locked up and the key thrown away.

This reflects the true human dimension of a crisis created by men who care more about themselves than giving due care to the money people put in their trust, and they could not even be bothered to write to say: "sorry, we have failed you and we promise you we will do everything we can to help you get your money restored to you".
Video says it all simply & succinctly. This is the REALITY for those people who have lost everything in KSFIoM. A man convicted of causing the deaths of 279 people & Great Train Robber have been released on compassionate grounds. Innocent KSFIoM depositors have been shown no compassion & will have to serve many yrs to see only a %age of THEIR money back. They don't have a roof & 3 square meals a day with no bills.Theirs is a worse prison than that of convicted criminals. IS THIS JUSTICE?

Until they face up to that fact and have the courage to act on it, the message can only be "DON'T BANK ON THE ISLE OF MAN". It's just not worth the risk.

It directly contrasts to the images of fat cat bank execs and their lives of obsence excess and luxury at the expense of hardworking British citizens. The latest news that one of the execs intends to exploit us even further with the proceeds from a book on the subject just rubs salt into a very raw wound. Thank you for this outstanding effort.

Indeed, they employ their own spin machine to discredit and hurt the very people whose lives they ruined! Just don't risk your money.

The Isle of Man should atone for its blunder in allowing over half the bank's assets to be deposited in London UNSECURED.
The Manx government's attitude towards those who entrusted their savings into its jurisdiction has been despicable.

A great video - simple but so effective it says everything that needs to be said.
Real people being affected everyday due to the actions of the Isle of Man Government/FSC October 2008 and possibly before! with this KSFIOM debacle!
Isle of Man - do the right thing and guarantee ALL depositors 100% and pay out quickly there is still time to sort this out.
