you fool book of genesis i can show you exactly how the world was created and debate ur best scientist yet i am not a scientist myself..everything is in genesis..hahaha .i dont want to waste my time .
dont even waste peoples time with ur fake theory, einstein was a Godly man yet you dont acknowledge that he put evolutionist to shame, the woman who split the atom was a jew Gods chosen people..you scientist are riding on the back of their discoveries, you dont know anything..come up with something new..booorrrriiing
it takes more faith to believe in youur theory of evolution than the bible...evolution has no proof at all , not one yet you speak like like its a fact..show me the proof..wheres the missing link?
Notice how genesis 2 begins to call God by the name "the LORD" and does so exclusively for a very long time. The reason for this is that the name The LORD (which is always written in subtle caps) is how the name YHWH is translated into English by bible makers. YHWH is very a different god from the Elohim of genesis 1, YHWH has lungs to breath with, hands to sculpt with, and feet to walk through the garden with. YHWH also makes mistakes, unlike Elohim. YHWH is even later shown to FEAR man.
Again I already know this. But this is neither here nor there. Go ask any Christian if the person in Genesis changes at all and they'll tell you no. At no point in the translation I used does it mention that the God in Genesis 1 is any different from the God in Genesis 2. While it may be impressive to show this kind of knowledge, many believers would simply turn around and tell you you're wrong. Hence why I address the story as it is written; with one God doing all of the work.
One inconsistency that you ought to know/bring up is that the Garden of Eden as a trope does not appear in Genesis 1, and in fact, the lines "god created man and woman together" and the lines "you may have any fruit from any tree on earth" or whatever go directly against plot points in genesis 2. The reason for this is that genesis 1 and 2 had different authors who lived roughly 2000 years apart from each other (though genesis 2 actually came first) and both have totally different messages.
If one is to genuinely intend to present the book of Genesis as nothing other than a work wrought from the mind of a supreme being, it seems almost necessary by default said being would do what they could to make it clear exactly what they meant. If there is indeed an intended difference between the two stories then there is nothing in the text to indicate this at all. As far as writing goes, it's terrible, and certainly not indicative of divine authorship.
I almost forgot why I started writing to you. There's a book you should check out. it's called "the bible with sources revealed." It divides the entire bible into sets of different colored texts for each of the different authors who worked on it. It makes the stylistic differences between the authors glaringly obvious and really illustrates beyond a shadow of a doubt how the bible is human literature and not divine revealed historical/scientific text. You could use it in your arguments!
