Dear Kuauramina, thanks for the video, from Lima, Perú. Have you seen the french series L'île mysterieuse, 1972, with Omar Sharif as Nemo? Believe me, it is the best version of the novel, with the fascinating music by Gianni Ferrio. There are videos in You tube. It is far better than the Hollywood versions of the novel. It seems that USA filmakers doesnt understand the poetical essence of Verne's novels. Thanks again.

It's one of my favorites. Along with the cyclops in Seventh Voyage and Telos in Jason and the Argonauts. With Bernard Herrmann doing the music, how can you go wrong.

i love the young couple Herbert n Elena!! Instead of giant bees I would of have the young couple stumble in a giant spider web. A giant spider would wrap them up and the young couple would hae to escape the cocoon. Still this was a very good scene. Excellent special effects!!

I saw this as a kid at the old Trail Drive-In Theatre in Napoleon, Ohio. Sittin' in a old ford station wagon in my pj's, eating popcorn out of a paper sack my mom had popped and drinking a coke from Dolly's country store. Thanks for posting a reviving a great memory!
