Have you tried playing along with the palmas tracks on the Sólo Compás CDs? That would probably help you with the compás!

ok i've watched myself a couple of times now and i think i know what i'm doing wrong!
some places i'm falling down a beat from normal seguiriyas timing of
1 & 2 & 3 and a 4 and a 5
to
