There's two different debates going on here - the guy on the right is hilarious and should be a comedy actor after playing the "suck up" in this ad - (I work with so many people like that!!). He's got nothing to do with the redundancies - he's just getting paid for by the media agency aviva employ to make this ad. NU have had to face business pressures to get rid of all those people and they should have seen that coming. That's where business and human situations don't mix.

And actually, my point was just about the advert and not about the people that got made redundant - I have no sympathy for NU in this situation. I'm disappointed to hear that you had poor customer service - if you want you can search on Google for "consumer action group forum", go to the Insurance section and then you can talk it through with an NU customer service manager. Hopefully they will be able to sort it out for you.
